You would think that both of these religions would have more important things to be concerned about.

Two groups who hate each other coming together to hate someone else. Lovely.

I thought gay marriage was already legal in Scotland. O.o hmm... maybe in my vision of Bonnie Scotland.

Disgusting. Religious conservatives hate everyone in different religions, yet have no problem with joining together in order to deny other people their rights.

Apparently, hate CAN drive out hate.

Makes me think of this picture: That "an enemy of my enemy" phenomenon is very weird.

When I saw this, I thought "what could they possibly unite on?"
Then I clicked the page and let out a disappointed "oh."

Well, I'm SO flattered that two whole religions think I am SO evil that they need to team up and vanquish me.
I so wish I had a drip-font, because I have no other way to express the pure venom in my words right now.
Suddenly, having a dragonsona seems appropriate.

You would think that both of these religions would have more important things to be concerned about. Maybe they'll team up to try to ban abortion next. And then legalize sex with minors.

Two groups who hate each other coming together to hate someone else. Lovely. I choose to see this video as another example of gays being peace-makers, soothing old hatreds and bringing people together.

You would think that both of these religions would have more important things to be concerned about. Yeah, I mean, point one on their respective agendas is surely, "how best to disassociate with terrorism and paedophilia", given that you don't have to invoke deities to point out how those might be bad.

I thought gay marriage was already legal in Scotland. O.o hmm... maybe in my vision of Bonnie Scotland. Civil partnerships are. This legislation would expand on that. Since the SNP have a majority government, the Lib Dems and Greens have both expressed support and Labour are likely to vote with the government (but can't bring themselves to publicly support any SNP legislation ahead of time, no matter how popular), the opposition of church groups who would not even be forced to carry out same sex marriages anyway means little in a country where only 11% of the population* and falling attend Christian churches on Sundays. * and were it not for Glasgow's Catholic immigrants from Poland and various denominations attended by African refugees, that number would be a lot lower. Fun fact: more religious services on a typical Scottish Sunday are conducted in Polish than Gaelic.
