You know what, at this point it would probably be better for Planned Parenthood to split into two organizations, one of which being for women's health, and the other would be "Abortions R Us" like the fundies currently think. Because this is getting ridiculous. So you're proposing we give them what they want and make it easier for them to restrict women's access to abortion? I think he was trying to make a sick joke.

To go Devil's Advocate here, it would get some of the undeserved negative PR away from Planned Parenthood. Fundies have already shown they have no problem disregarding everything an individual or organization in the medical community does & declaring war on them for the fact that they provide abortion. This particular group was specifically assured that not a single cent of their donations would go towards abortion, but they didn't care. The question he raises is whether that's worth potentially giving them an easier target.

Wouldn't it be easier to go to rent a storefront in a bad part of town that says in big bold neon letters FREE ABORTION CENTER OF [city]? It'll give the fundies someplace to go while leaving everyone who needs PP alone. Don't open it. Or just have coffee and donuts for anyone who wanders in. But just put something that's exactly what they want to see.

These fundies are ANTICHRIST!!! *voids stomach contents*
Well, their loss, better to sell the Bibles at a REAL CHURCH that doesn't kowtow to this Dominionist, Fundie, Pharisee crap! Some nice groups that mainly wouldn't care either way.....Episcopalians, Unitarian Universalists, mainstream/moderate Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Non-SBC (real) Baptists, etc. not to mention the Metropolitan Churches, Unitarians, and others.
They wanna be greedy, hateful demiurgic numbknobs, let them! Their loss! Deity & Good Karma will NOT bless them!

But yeah, turns out buying the Lord's pink Bible will not only go to finding the cure for breast cancer, it may also "support" abortion! *le gasp* Or worse, pink could be interpreted to support: [glow=magenta,8,300][/glow]

Hell, I know of a lot of people that appear socially liberal on almost everything but abortion, and they still vote Republican just because of the abortion issue.
