Is Russia Today really the most trust-worthy source?
Well Michel Chossudovsky certainly isn't. Once I saw his name linked to this story I started to get doubts. I'm not saying this court judgement didn't actually happen, but I'd pretty much need to have the court itself confirm its existence. So far the closest I've come is the not-very-reputable Daily Caller which if nothing else has some actual detail. Emphasis is mine:
NEW YORK — In an historic hearing in the federal courthouse in Manhattan on Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels said he planned to issue a ruling in the coming days declaring that Iran shares in the responsibility for the 9/11 terror attacks.
“The extensive record submitted to this court, including fact witnesses and expert testimony, is satisfactory to this court,” Judge Daniels said. The court “accepts as true” the various allegations of the plaintiffs and their experts, he declared, and “will issue an order” in the coming days that Iran bears legal responsibility for providing “material support” to the 9/11 plotters and hijackers.
So until it's actually issued I'm treating this as non-story.
Well in American conservative circles, it's as good as true now
This seems to be as credible as Version hiring Blackwater as strike breakers.

Obama Buys Clothes Mocks those with no income
Obama Does Not Buy Clothes Refuses to help economy
Obama wears a red tie! Proof he's a communist.
Obama wears a blue tie!
Clearly toeing the party line and refusing to compromise.
Considering Al Qaida and the Iranian government absolutely despise each other, I'm just not seeing it.
Considering that Iran was at war with the Taliban and was supplying the Northern Alliance against the Taliban I'm definitely not seeing, especially as immediately prior to invasion, the US paid for weapons from the Russian to be flown to Iran to help resupply the Northern Alliance.
Conare nullius momenti videri fortasse missilibus careant. (Try to look unimportant, they may be low on ammo).

Because if they didn't then they wouldn't be ruthless enough to get elected in the first place.
When a conservative says that a group of people are freedom fighters, they are certainly wrong. When a liberal says that a group of people are freedom fighters, they are equally wrong. When a dictatorship is overthrown by a legitimate and stable democracy that does not itself collapse [...], then and ONLY then can we say that the people who overthrew the previous government were freedom fighters.
