And definitely allow him to stay, under the argument that he is indeed a paying customer, and that it is generally a bad thing to discriminate against customers based on appearance. It's not his appearance, it's the fact that the store has a 20 minute time limit for customers and sleeping at the tables is also against the rules, both of which he's breaking and as such it's Juna's job to boot him out. That said, did anyone else find it odd that he apparently falls asleep after drinking coffee? And when it's enforced selectively, and is enforced on him because of his appearance...

Possibly, though I'm more inclined to think it's because he's sleeping in the store that's rubbing management the wrong way. Just for the record though, I think it's best to leave him be, at least until morning Juna's shift is over. It's not as though there's a huge demand for tables in the middle of the night and it's probably the safest place that the poor fellow has to sleep.

That said, did anyone else find it odd that he apparently falls asleep after drinking coffee? Paradoxical effect, perhaps. Some people actually get sleepy after consuming caffeine and other stimulants, or excitable when using depressants. It's usually seen amongst children, but it's not unheard of in adults. *raises hand* I'm one of those peeps. It sometimes goes hand-in-hand with ADHD. As for the topic at hand... Drunk lady- Do NOT let her get back into her car if she comes in again. I have known too many people who were killed or grievously injured from drunk driving. Homeless guy- Inform him gently of the rules and ask if he has a place to stay locally. If not, offer to get him to a homeless shelter. But be sure to tell him this isn't you talking, it's your place of work. You and him have to follow those rules. These are both unfortunate circumstances but you also cannot fall into the elephant in the room type thing or bystander apathy.

I'm an ADHD kid, and I find that caffeine helps me control my thoughts more.

Fun fact: Chocolate makes me energetic, caffeine makes me sleepy, sugar is neutral.
