When they're racist, ignorent, poor motherfuckers that is. Failed Tea Party candidate calls for the assassination of Obama and the First KidsYeah you read that right true believers. A failed candidate for city council in California made a racist and possibly treasonous screed on his facebook page about how someone needs to kill Obama and his kids. It's since been redacted but he got a nice visit from Secret Service. Ironbite-But hey...at least we know who to put up against the wall when the revolution comes. |

Wow, this is even more disgusting than the typical "threaten to kill the President" screed. I bet that the person who made that threat would be infuriated if someone had advocated killing Bush and his daughters. Fucking hypocrites...

No, it's not "possibly treasonous." People here love to throw around the word "treasonous" to describe any action that may harm the country (particularly when it comes to stories about restrictive election laws).
In reality, "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court" (U.S. Constitution, Article III Section 3).

Seditious statements aside, you do NOT threaten to kill children. Ever. Obama's daughters, IIRC, are both under the age of ten. I highly doubt that they understand the complicated dance that is American politics. Also, they are unable to vote or to shape public policy in any way.
The only thing anyone would accomplish by killing those kids would be to deprive the world of children who did nothing wrong.

I don't know, Obama would have to pull some really serious stunts to beat Bush jnr. Its hard to beat two illegal wars, a recession and failure to properly manage natural disasters. Then again, if Obama gets re-elected he might manage it. Am I the only one who is wondering why this guy wanted to off the entire Obama family except his wife? |
