I find it rather refreshing that we rate such attention that someone squats the variations on our name.

I didn't know fstdt was famous enough to be squatterlinked.
Also, I thought Billy Graham died. Seems he is alive, well, and up to nefarious deeds.

I find it rather refreshing that we rate such attention that someone squats the variations on our name. And Billy Graham no less. He's like the fundie king. Not really. He's a theological conservative, but he rejects a lot of the more hard-core fundie positions. For instance, he believes non-Christians can get into Heaven. If all fundies were like Billy Graham, this site wouldn't have much reason to exist.

I meant in terms of his profile and influence really. I listened to quite an even-handed retrospective of his career on BBC radio, and it's true that his views aren't even in the same league as the likes of RaptureRubbish.

Nice, and it's well after I'd registered this domain. Not that I really wanted .org, but it's handy to know if I can find a slimey lawyer I may have an ATM in Billy Gram's form.

And what the fuck, seems the .com domain has changed hands. At least I know who this guy is, I'll have to go bug him.

I meant in terms of his profile and influence really. I listened to quite an even-handed retrospective of his career on BBC radio, and it's true that his views aren't even in the same league as the likes of RaptureRubbish. In other words, he's sane. His son Franklin, who is his heir as far as his ministry goes, has no where near his father's class. He's not quite as big a jerk as Falwell or Robertson, but he still lacks a lot of the dignity his father has. I think Franklin has essentially taken over for his father. Billy is apparently quite ill, and is pretty much in retirement. (Though if you know ministers, few of them ever truly retire. A friend is the daughter of a Methodist minister, and by the time he passed away, she had lost count of the number of times he preached his "final" sermon.) I can't remember the details, but there was also a pretty nasty fight among Franklin's children over whether Billy and his wife would be buried.
