It'd be a shame to not keep this one going, no? I dreamed the other night that someone stole my bicycle. I was quite upset.

The other night I dreamed I found like...a huge ruby while playing my priest in World of Warcraft (naturally finding it in the game meant I had it in real life, right?) and that my statistics professor was actually a phys. ed. coach who taught classes on rope-climbing in my living room. My sister was infested with fleas the size of horseflies and someone blew up my trashy neighbor's house, which was actually on the other side of a pasture that doesn't exist in real life. My head is a very strange place when I'm asleep.

As I've mentioned before my dreams run in series and they build up huge back stories so it'd be difficult to give you a reasonable summary of a single dream so instead I'm going to give a basic summary of one of my longest and favourite dream series.
The Basic Premise The backstory involves a seperate race of humans, living secretly amongst us, called 'Bachari'. The main thing seperating the bachari from humans is their ability to use magic, each Bachari not onyl able to call upon a variety of generic abilities but able to summon a personal familiar that manifests itself as either an animal or some sort of weapon. Funnily enough soem of the dreams were spoken in the bachari language, which soundd a bit like a cross between Hindi and Japanese, using Japanese syntax. It is mentioned later that there were about 7000 bachari at the start of the dream series.
Part the first Basically the first dream began with three major characters; an incredibly gay irish guy, the main character who seemed to share my dress-sense (or lack thereof) and the obligatory love interest. Anyway, once word reaches these three characters about senior Bachari dissapearing or being killed they decide to gather a group of 16 of them who were apparently soem sort of 'accelerated learners' group and apparently more powerful than your bog standard bachari. Anyway, whilst gathering togetehr the 16 major characters are attacked in turn by swat-esque soldiers in black uniforms, although they all survive and regroup. At this point they are confronted by a middle aged british guy who is leading the swat-esque teams who has my exact hairstyle.
Part the second An explanation is offered, a subdivision of the CIA, so secretive and insane that not even the CIA know they exist, known only as The Department has discovered the secret of BAchari and declared them a threat to humanity. As such the Department has been commiting systematic Genocide. Then there was a lot of ratehr episodic narrative with the Bachari fighting the Department and slowly learnign more about them. The gay Irish guy's boyfriend is killed at some point. The section ends when the central US government is made aware of the Bachari and The Department is called off, the surviving Bachari becoem local celebrities.
Part the third The surviving bachari discover that The Department only became aware of their existence with the aid of a treacherous BAchari. After a lot of episodic dreams the traitor is killed by one of the bachari (a canadian phsycopath with a Katana)
Part the fourth Super-right wing governments are being elected across Europe and society starts to collapse. In the midst of this the Bachari attempt to return to the secret underground city of the BAchari before the Department killed everyone, hoping to find surviviors. Instead they find wholesale massacre of children and become angry. The Bachari survivor directly assault The Department Headquarters, killing the middle aged british guy from part one. This is used as an excuse by a land-hungry nationalist American governmetn to invade Canada, Britain gets involved on the Canadian side too.
Part the fifth The son of the middle aged british guy killed in part 4, attacks the Bachari, killing Obligatory love interest with a sniper rifle, though he is killed in the process. Main character dissapears adn the otehr Bachari begin a search for him. MAin character reappears several dreams later driven completely insane by the loss of Obligatory Love Interest, and attackign everything in his path. He kills 12 of the 14 oher surviving Bachari, before being killed by Canadian-phsycopath-Bachari.
Epilogue The series ended with a rather depressign Epilogue dream after the death of the main character, basically the whole of society collapses and the CAnadian-phsycopath BAchari is killed in a generic border war. The onyl survivor is a blind Australian Bachari who had been driven mad by visions before the series even started.
God I have awesome dreams.

Sandafluffoid, you are insane. I wish I could dream like you.
I work in my schools poli sci department, and a lot of what I do is make copies for the professors. I had a dream last night that one of the professors handed me twenty sheets of paper and said he needed eight hundred copies and I had to staple them into packets. It was more of a nightmare.

I approve of the continuation of this thread.
Most recent dream wasn't so pleasant... was sailing with my parents on our yacht, doing really nicely on a great breeze, when quite quickly a storm blew up around us. Huge waves all around and a brutal, howling wind. My dad was furiously trying to get the sails in with my brother, but where nearly getting swept away as the waves hit the boat. My mum was in the cockpit trying to do what she could, and my lil sis was down below getting scared. I was at the helm trying to keep the boat into the wind and into the waves.
We were managing just fine, when a wave popped out of nowhere and nudged us enough to one side so when the next wave came, the yacht was pretty much taken out. Before the yacht capsized, I took a brutal knock to the head from the boom and was sent flying overboard. Before I lost consciousness, I saw my parents trying to reach for me before the boat got capsized and they were lost to the waves.
When I woke up, I was on a sunny beach, all sodden and in tatters after what happened. As I tried to remember why i was on the beach, I couldn't remember a thing. Before passing out once again, I saw a girl approaching calling out to people, though as she got close, I fainted again. Upon awakening eventually, I was in someone's house, my head bandaged and with fresh clothes. After a few minutes, a few people appeared, all coming over to ask me how I was doing. I just nodded to say I was fine, but when they asked me my name, I couldn't remember. More precisely, I couldn't even speak.
Eventually, they went off to get me something to eat, to which I was treated to quite a meal. As I ate, the family put on the TV to watch for the mean time, and on the news, there was a story on yacht being capsized and a family being lost. As I ate, I just looked on like it was something completely unrelated to me, but I couldn't help feel sad, and wondered why I was feeling sad.
I woke up soon after, annoyed at not being able to connect the dots in the dream... ): damn dreams...

I can remember some dreams I've had years and years ago. One of my favorite ones was one I had when I was in high school. I was at home in my room and I looked out the window and this guy from my school was walking around in the tall grass behind our house with a rifle. Suddenly, there was a shot and the guy fell to the ground, and I saw another guy running toward the gravel road that runs past our place. I go call 911, and go outside and wait for them to show up. Meanwhile the dog is going nuts in his kennel, and I go sit on a hayrack. One of the cats jumps up next to me and says (yes, he actually spoke) "what's going on?" I was like . Cut to another scene--I get on my bicycle and the cat is riding on my shoulder. I go down the driveway and start riding down the trail, and it a big rock. I fly over the handlebars and the cat and I land in the ditch. Next thing, a door opens in the side of the ditch and we were being pulled inside by...I don't know, ninjas or something. It was awesome. XD I actually made it into a whole short story, which I shared with my creative writing class in college. It has since been lost somewhere along the lines though.

I tend to have very boring dreams. Last night, I dreamed that I was explaining elements of the second Sookie Stackhouse novel to a friend.
Yes, I was dreaming about discussing a book with a friend.

Last night I dreamed my band director joined FSTDT. Must have been because of that video I posted that he posted on Facebook yesterday. Too bad I don't remember what his user name was in the dream or I'd look to see if he's been hanging out here. XD

Last night I had a dream that my parents didn't want me to go home for spring break, and they told me I had to go to New York instead. And I really didn't want to go because I was going to have to go all by myself, and I didn't have a car. And they were like, "Oh, here's a bus ticket." And then they drove nine hours to see my sister.

By the way, the title to this thread is incredibly misleading. I'd give it 7/10 at best.

This morning involved Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Something about Kamen Rider Sting having a minion named Kamen Rider Blade who Wing and Dragon Knight were attempting to take down or something.
Ironbite-oh and Sting was a right asshole and bought my old mattress so he could make fun of it.

I dreamt i was in my old house here and a friend was there. I remarked he was much taller than I thought he was, we both smiled.
Then later we had drinks and I made a terrible faux pas, he was upset I didn't treat him like a regular person.

The other night I woke up in the early morning hours with a full bladder. But instead of getting up to pee, I drifted back off and dreamt about getting up to pee. In my dream, when I flushed, the toilet overflowed, and it happened way faster than it would IRL so I was still reaching for the plunger while the entire bathroom floor was covered in water. Then I woke up. It is such a sweet feeling of relief to know, at 3 in the morning, that you don't actually have a plumbing emergency after all.
