I'm back! And lots more poems now
.
The Wall Street Tea PartyStraight off from lala land, left
to the North star we come to
a party, not a normal one, oh no no.
It's a teaparty with all the characters,
the fools, the march hairs and
hatters who are absolutely mad.
Pass the butter, pour the tea
the gang of wall street preform
in jest while the politician, smile
and grin, acting an alternative
fling.
Then their Alice quite richly bemused,
these are the men she was told run
the world.
They chuckle, and chortle, promising
lies in a game of chance.
These are the men, that run the world,
acting like absolute goats. Surely, they
must know, that teatime over and it's
dinner now. "The world needs you
quit playing around."
Money is dunked in tea with delight
as they continue the party. They jump
on the tables and dance a jig, while
under the table is another story.
People scrouging for scraps,
trying to make with this and that,
their houses but a pack of cards,
they all fall down, in a mess.
The party goers laugh and
dip into funds, spoiling the
coffer with coffee grounds.
Alice leaves, why should
she stay, these men
seem more interested
in playing around
and acting fools.
