news.aol.comJust about every article I read someone is bashing "queers" or "fags" for something in the comments, even if the article is ENTIRELY unrelated. It's really quite disconcerting. Not that the site itself is anti-gay (in fact, it might even be supportive of gays, which might explain why there's so many anti-gay people there)

Being on AOL, I've seen that a lot. I've also noticed that, no matter what the topic is (they can be mentioning a sunny day), the comments all erupt into religious discussions. I very rarely seen it otherwise.

AOL is kind of like 60 y/o crack addicted prostitute. It will take what it can get. Nothing against prostitutes as long as they have self respect and are not supporting a drug habit.

Well, Wikipedia vandals... Aren't AOL IPs autobanned from editing Wikipedia? No, since AOL changed its policies, it's been changed, if I remember right en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AOL (it got changed)

Yeah, the who post comments on AOL, are asses, thats the reason for the part, I rarely look at the news stories on there, I just sign in, check my e-mail, sign out & go where ever I'm going online.

Well, it's AOL. When something is overpriced and "so easy to use, no wonder it's #1", most of people who use it won't be the brightest crayons in the box. (That said, yes, I was an AOL user for a very long time.)
