My computer downloaded it yesterday. Everythings basically the same but the browser. It shows your history and links from your favorites instead of the typed in addresses. I was wondering if there was a way to change that back.
edit: didn't know if this was the right place to post this.

IE8 = a little better than IE7, not as good as a sock full of floppy cocks. - When I open a new tab, I immediately click the Google search bar to look something up. After typing the few characters, IE steals the focus and moves it into the address bar. Constantly, IE wants to steal my focus and move it somewhere else. - Compatibility mode = fucking stupid. Very few users are going to know when its appropriate to use compatibility mode, I would actually consider to be an "expert" feature which does more harm than good. Since its a new button and placed right on the address bar, someone is going to end up pressing it and cause their favorite sites to render like shit. Nothing looks right in compatibility mode -- I would actually say that Microsoft should simply break compatibility with amateur web designers who can't bother to learn CSS and design sites correctly. With that being said, there are some things I like: - Colored tab groups. - In Private mode which doesn't log to the history bar or hold cookies. - Acid2 compliance. (Still fails catastrophically in Acid3.)

Nothing outstanding about it. It's 7 with a higher number.
