Aqualung? Your ears burning yet? My palms are! That's what happens when you leave the dencorub in your top drawer next to the KY. I had to look it up. Ouch... That would be like the Ben-Gay or Icy/Hot we have here. I actually used a lotion that had some kind of menthol ingredient to it... by the time I was "feeling the burn" I was almost done so I just kicked it into gear and finished. Felt like my dick was in a snowbank by the time I was done. I mean, I knew the damage had been done and simply quitting and cleaning was still gunna burn. Fuck it! It had to be done! I wish I could say that mistake was made in my youth but it was like four months ago.

You are very good. I wanted to play the flute when I was in band, but the director wouldn't let me. Said there were too many flute players. There usually are. In my high school band, there were like 30 flutes and 15 clarinets. And about ten of them could tune!

I was fucking terrible, had private lessons and everything.

Elementary/Middle/High School band is not about being good, if my experience has taught me anything. One of our soloists in High School was a senior flutist who couldn't even tune. I chose trombone because you can play it using only one hand and the mouthpiece was big enough for my lips. Nothing like choosing an instrument after ruling out all the ones you love....

Hey, is it possible to record some stuff? Incorporating a flute would sound kinda nice on some of my tracks.

Reminds me of when I was trying to find a good flutist for a song I wrote. Unfortunately, it was at a time when I couldn't play guitar, so the loss of my STB fundie guitarist made it fall apart.

Well, I do play guitar, keyboards and program drums (that's the gist of how I write music, heh). Give me a score and I'll play something. Aqua: I will be writing some music over the summer, might most likely be free, and it might need some winds to depict, well, the wind. Probably will be a concept album on the major cities along I-80 in Iowa.

It will come, I promise! It's mostly a matter of getting together with an accompanist and someone to record. I'm trying to get a guitar player to play with me but he's busy with school and stuff right now. So the most I could do right now is record myself with no accompaniment. >.>

Ah, that sucks. I assume you're talking about Armand? By the way, there are backing tracks designed as accompaniment for the lonely musician out there. I don't know any specific sites to tell you for flute, but I'm a guitarist and I use guitarbackingtrack.com from time to time. I'm sure there's something like that for flute or even some tracks on that site that you could have some fun with.

That could work for some things. I see they have "Wind of Change" by the Scorpions on there; I played that for my college senior recital. ^_^ There's a program called Band in a Box where you just punch in the style and the chords and play along with it, but I can't afford that right now.

I can't wait until I get a router so my internet'll run faster. It took me 10 minutes to watch the first minute of it.
I did get it to work though. Very impressive, Aqualung. Great job. I remember being stuck with the flute in band class, so I give you all the credit in the world for doing so well with it.
