What do you identify as? Are you religious, non-religious, semi-religious? If what identifies you is not up there, go ahead and list it in a comment. I myself identify as Atheist...
Pick your poison....

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Ironbite-I worship a ball of light that lives in my head.

Ironbrat actually worships me, but he's very shy about it.
Practicing agnostic, myself. I believe that I am unprovable, unless I choose to come forth and display my divine powers to me.

Atheist. Former fundie, excommunicated at 18 y.o. But pretty much an atheist since I could be aware of God. Caused a lot of cognitive dissonance.

I identify as atheist, but when I tell people what 'atheist' means to me, they tell me that that's actually agnostic.
But they're wrong, so fuck 'em.

I promise not to say anything about it, I'm just curious as to whether you have another view of atheism, or if everybody else has a skewed view of agnosticism. Because to the best of my knowledge, atheism is a lack of belief in a god or the belief that there IS no god, and agnosticism is either being unsure or believing that the existence of a god can't be proven or disproven. Correct me if I'm wrong though. As for me, I'm an atheist. I don't believe in anything, though I'm not a militant atheist or anything. It's MY lack of belief and just as long as nobody tries to put their beliefs on ME or anybody else, they can believe whatever the heck they want. My mom doesn't like to accept this and tells everybody that I'm an agnostic, though. I was probably agnostic by the time I was eight or so years old, and that gradually became atheism. When I was thirteen or fourteen, I'd pretty much decided that I didn't believe in any god or deity.

Agnostic. I don't know if the existence of God can be proven or not but if it could I'd probably go back to being Christian. As such, most things in life just are and don't suggest there is a god, but then there are some things that can't be explained. So I don't know. :/

Athiest, I guess. I don't believe in any deity, but it doesn't bother me if people want to believe in one/ones as long as they don't force it on others.

Correct me if I'm wrong though. Well, to me atheism can mean lack of belief in a god or belief that there is no god, yes. But my atheism means lack of belief in a god. I guess because I'm not making an actual claim that god does not exist, people see that as agnosticism. Actually, I don't think that that form of atheism and agnosticism are mutually exclusive. But neither are they the same thing. And I think you're right about agnosticism, too, though in that case I think which meaning 'agnostic' has depends on the context rather than the individual in question.

Atheist. Non-religious. I just can't believe anything even that some of the religions do make sense in a way.

Okay, yeah--that IS annoying. A lot of people, I find, automatically assume that atheism means a fire-breathing insistence that "THERE IS NO GOD!!!!111eleventyone!!", rather than just a quiet and personal lack of belief. The only exposure some people have TO atheism is people like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins, so they assume that if you're not as vocal as they are then you must be an agnostic. Or something like that. I once had to explain to a guy what an atheist was because it honestly didn't occur to him that somebody could have a LACK of belief in a god. He asked me if there were places that atheists would meet to discuss their lack of belief, like an atheist church or something--he was NOT the cleverest guy in the world.

Atheist, because "naked and covered in butter" wasn't an option.
Secular anti-humanist is probably a bit more accurate anyway

Lol Atheist church...riiiight...and we wouldn't pay taxes either, huh? Yeah, well when someone asks me, I tell them. And on the occasion I'll spout off some piece of evidence supporting evolution or something to my closest friends. But I'm never like going around shouting "There is no GAWD!". The thing that Fundie's never understand is that if they just kept to themselves instead of "witnessing" to anything with a pulse, we might not dislike them as much. But its when they start preaching and witnessing....that's when they go too far and start annoying the shit out of me. They can have their religion, just keep it to themselves.

Well, the Religious Right has gone out of their way to paint the non-believers as heretics who would love to go all Third Reich on their asses. So naturally, people are going to believe atheists are all offensive people who don't just believe there's no God, they want to ruin your faith, too.

Mostly atheist, occasionally pantheist, technically also agnostic. Have been known to invent religions.
