Atheist. I used to be Christian growing up, then considered myself agnostic for a while, but now I know I'm definitely atheist.
Which is funny, because that totally mirrors my sexuality. Grew up thinking I was straight, considered myself bi for a while, then realized I was definitely a lesbian. I guess I always need to transition slowly?

Hmmm. Atheist has 66.6% at the moment. Coincidence?...

I voted agnostic, but I'm also Jewish. And pantheist.
It basically comes down to I have no idea what the hell I believe, and I didn't see the "dunno" option.

Hmmm. Atheist has 66.6% at the moment. Coincidence?... No, bad maths. It should be 66.7%. All of which is purely academic anyway, because I've knocked it down to 65. I voted "Other". I'm not entirely sure why, but it seemed very reasonable when I did so.

Jenova's Witness.
Yes, that's Jenova. With an "n."

I usually call myself an atheist or agnostic, when I call myself anything at all. Those two words usually scare people though, so most of the time when people ask, I simply reply "I'm not religious". I was raised a Catholic, and most of my family still practice it, so I participate in some of the rituals out of respect, but it never really did anything for me, so I just gave up. It was kind of like living a lie, I was doing things more out of habit or family tradition, than any genuine beliefs or for my own happiness.
A lot of what I was taught is still ingrained in me though, and even though I have no doubt I made the right decision, I still find myself pondering and questioning what I really believe in. I guess that's a good thing, since it keeps the mind open, and if and when I ever do finally choose a spiritual path, I know the one I choose will be right for me. Meanwhile, exploring all the different religions of the world has been an unbelieveably enjoyable experience.

Atheist me. But in all honesty it's no big deal, specially here in the UK, hardly anyone gives a fuck what I am or what I think. And I don't care what others believe as long as it's not damaging.

Atheist. I'm pretty sure there's no god, sure enough to live my life as if there isn't. And until someone can step forward with conclusive evidence to the contrary, I'm gonna stay that way.
I used to be catholic, went to unspecified christian for a while, then went between christian, atheist, agnostic, pantheist, deist, and various other beliefs for a while until I fully realized there wasn't any evidence for god. I had a part of me that just didn't want to give up belief, being raised on it and all. I also don't believe in anything "supernatural". I've seen and experienced a few things that are hard to explain, but in the end I haven't seen any proof outside of that. I like proof. Proof of things makes me happy and believe in them.
It's never been much of an issue, as my friends don't care and most people who find out don't care. My mother's the only one who has any problem with it, as she gets - how should I put this? - somewhat annoyed when I mention my lack of faith.

Atheist. But I understand why people need to believe in something bigger but i have never understood organised religion. I'm quite happy with believing in nothing existing before everything burst into existence - I think mainly because it is so exciting in terms of how much we have to learn - there is no answer but the questions are so much fun.

A singer named Elvis Presley once lived, this I know for a fact.
It was reported that this singer died in 1977.
Despite this, some people claim he is still alive.
I don't believe Elvis is still alive.
But do I know for sure? No.
Could I be wrong? Perhaps, but I don't think it's likely at all.
So based on what I know about human behaviour and my own instincts I state pretty certainly that Elvis is dead.
Now about religion, christianity in particular...
A prophet named Jesus is reported to have once lived, this nobody knows for a fact.
It was reported that this prophet died in 2000 years ago.
Despite this, some people claim he is still alive.
I don't believe jesus ever even existed.
But do I know for sure? No.
Could I be wrong? Perhaps, but I don't think it's likely at all.
So based on what I know about human behaviour and my own instincts I state pretty certainly that jesus was a fictional character from a book of myths that isn't much different from all the other books of myths from all over the world.
But I never claimed that some prophet existed. Or some god. So my statement, "I am an atheist" is based solely on someone making a far fetched claim that doesn't hold water. Do I think santa claus is real? No. The story doesn't sound plausible and there is zero amount of proof that he ever existed much less has magic powers. Therefore when it comes to being an atheist I'm equally an a-santa-ist and an a-pixie-ist and an a-easter bunny-ist.
I'm an a-loch ness monster-ist and an a-bigfoot-ist too. Sure, I can't prove that bigfoot DOESN'T exist, but my being uncertain of that fact beyond a shadow of a doubt in no way urges me to believe for a second that those fantastical claims might be true.
The truly odd thing about it is that a religious person doesn't have to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that their god DOES exist, though they often claim that they do know. So I don't buy into that, "You can't prove god doesn't exist therefore if you don't want to look like a fundie, you can't say "There is no god" because you can't really know..." The religionists are the ones making the unsubstantiated claims, not me, so my disbelief is not the stance that is under the microscope as far as I'm concerned. No, I can't prove that all million or so religions since the beginning of time are false, but only in an unreasonable mind does that stance equate credence to the stories. I am not the enemy of a religion simply because I don't buy it wholesale. Technically, other than some photos and maps that tell me that Italy is shaped like a boot; I can't prove that either. I've never even been there so I can't prove the country even fucking exists! Doesn't make me an a-"Italy exists and it's shaped like a boot"-ist.
So I am an atheist.

Agnostic. I don't have a damn clue if there's a higher power and/or afterlife. There are so many things in this universe that can't be explained, so, while I feel like there's nothing out there, I can't lean 100% in that direction.
Religion-wise, I'm a Buddhist-Vaginalist. I worship my fiancee's...um, nevermind. Let's just say I know it exists.
Take care,
Jay

Atheist, either there is no god or he/she/it doesn't want us to know he/she/it exists other wise there would be at least one credible piece of verifiable proof making it a pointless question.
Originally a moderate Christian then a deist then agnostic then atheist

Polytheist Pagan. I really and sincerely believe that there are multiple Gods and Goddesses who control our world, and that I can work with them. But I don't believe anyone else has to, and I also respect science. The ancient Greeks could manage that, after all.

Christian... I've grown as a lutheran christian and although I consider myself religious I don't have any more problems with evolution than I have with gravity. ;D
I try not to preach my religion to others because I think we all have the right to decide for ourselves how to look at the world.

OoOo a Christian...welcome! Thanks for being here, we'd love some (non Fundie) Christian perspective. And I started out as a Catholic, was in the RCC for 20 years of my short life, then I was questioning, then I was Agnostic, and now I'm an Atheist and a Secular Humanist.
