I'm actually thinking of getting a DS now. I figure I can get Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days & Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy, & that should justify the purchase, even if I never get anything else.

I've had my DS for about a year and a half and still own only Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. EDIT: Oh, and Personal Trainer: Cooking, but I'm not really counting that as a "game" (I will say that the recipes I have made with it are pretty good, though). I'll have to look and see what my FCs for each game are, I like playing online sometimes... Also, is Nintendogs any good? I didn't like nintendogs. I found it rather boring, out side of teaching the dog tricks i saw nothing else really "fun" to do. but that's just me.

Well, on that issue, I've played a fair bit of VI, & I have to say this: It bores me. I don't give a rat's ass about any of the characters besides Kefka. Too much depth? (Can't be too little; you slobber over sepiroth like a starving man over a sammich)

I don't get the appeal, honestly. Like, I liked Animal Crossing: WW, then it just became tedious to pick it up every day, or to do things at certain times, or whatever. currently, my DS gets used for "My Japanese Coach" and "Sudoku Gridmaster" most often. I love Nanostray, but never beat it, so I've been holding off on Nanostray 2. Meteos is still one of my favorite pick up and play games. Just tossing out games to demonstrate I don't HATE the DS per se, just a lot of the big titles like "Mario homework generator" and "Animal Crossing: MOW THE FUCKING LAWN!"

(Can't be too little; you slobber over sepiroth like a starving man over a sammich) It IS too little. What in the Hell is the point in half of them? Sabin ran off to do some martial arts thing for a few years, & I don't know any of that, because his instructor & partner died during the course of his introduction. Locke was just the shittiest thief in the world until some bizarre, convoluted shit intolving his lover happened. Terra just annoys the fuck out of me. That said, at least they're not as bad as XII's main cast. And are you trying to imply that Sephiroth is a shallow character?

And are you trying to imply that Sephiroth is a shallow character? No, I'm neither trying nor implying. I'm flat-out saying. As is the rest of the cast. which is why I'm so puzzled that you would think too little depth was actually a bad thing.

Well, because you're wrong. Sephiroth is debatable, but the ENTIRE CAST of FFVII has no depth? This is the part where I ask you how well-acquainted you are with the plot & characters.
