So, as I'm sure most of you know, I'm trying to download Advent Children Complete, since I lack a Blu-Ray player, & therefore can't watch it legally without paying an obscene amount of money for either that or a PS3.
In lots of ways, I'd rather do that than download it, but it's starting to look out of the question, right now.
But I'm having trouble finding a place I can watch it (I refuse to use YouTube, due to the segmented thing & their tendency to delete those types of videos) or download it.
Hence the request for reccommendation.
Thank you in advance.

Limewire, fool. Or whatever is better as Limewire is a bitch to use and that's just for music that I was having a bitch of time to download.

I'm surprised I didn't try Limewire yet...although, it might not work, even if I do.
Every time I download a torrent, it always makes me open it with Limewire, then starts downloading again.
Invariably, I always get "Need More Sources."
I'll try using Limewire directly & see where I get with it, though.
Edit: Just got a bunch of spam.

Screw Limewire, go for BitComet and look it up on the Pirate Bay. If I ever need anything, 9 times out of 10, the Pirate Bay has it. I just downloaded the new DevilDriver album not 10 minutes ago, and the motherfucker was JUST RELEASED. There were even multiple torrents that hosted the LIMITED EDITION.
Also, in my experience, torrenting something is quite possibly the fastest method of downloading EVAR. No fucking question. /thread

Torrents are definitely more reliable than direct download, as if there's a connection hiccup you don't have to start all over again. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's always faster, as some places (and times) allow you to really rape the bandwidth, and sometimes there's very few seeders or the seeders have crap connections, but the reliability to continue downloading even with connection drops is a huge advantage, especially with larger (numbers of) files.
As for places, yeah, there's The Pirate Bay, Iso Hunt, or what I frequently do is just type the name of what I want into Google and include "torrent" at the end of the search string.

Now, here's what I want to know about Torrents: Why do they ALWAYS take me to Limewire to finish the download, & then just not work?
I haven't tried again yet. I might do it today. Either way, the more suggestions, the better, as this is proving to be a pain in the ass.

Either way, the more suggestions, the better, as this is proving to be a pain in the ass. Yeah, that happens to me too. I use BitLord. If I don't get the torrent from the built in search system, it won't work. And of course, if I'm really burning to download something, I always find the torrent from another source, so it doesn't work T_T. I'm a member of a website that is invite-only, and you can download and request pretty much anything you want. If you can't find a working torrent let me know and I'll see if anyone can fill my request. If they do, I'll send you the links. Stuff is usually hosted on rapidshare or megaupload. I'd invite you but you have to be VIP to invite people, which costs money, and I'm not VIP :[. QUICK EDIT- I just searched on BitLord's built in search engine, and it looks like they have quite a few "Advent Children Complete". So go download BitLord D:

I use Tomato Torrent. It's for Mac, but it's about as bare-bones as you can get. You just open the torrent and it starts downloading.
I use isoHunt and torrentz primarily, and if those two fail I'll just google for it.

This. It was programmed by Choco-Jesus himself, who labored to the sounds of Chef singing "Simultaneous Loving". It's free. It's simple. It's extremely stream-lined. It has several easter eggs.

uTorrent actually did not work for me. Only 1 of the results were ACC, the rest were the ordinary AC.
BitLord, it took a few tries, but eventually I got 1 to work. It played for a while, then I got to a new scene. And they were speaking English. So I have the right thing.
Problem is, & I knew I had to deal with this, but: I can either keep it normal-sized, which is about a 1x1 in. screen, or I can maximize it to a fairly decent 4 or 5 in. screen (for some reason, it doesn't LITERALLY go fullscreen), but then it goes all pixely.
But, negativity aside; WOOT! I'LL FINALLY BE ABLE TO WATCH MY FUCKING MOVIE!

Glad I could help. Maybe I'll download it as well, I only saw it once.
I downloaded uTorrent last night because a few people recommended it. Nothing I've tried to download has worked lol.
