Presently, the computer is set up so that each person in my family has their own account.
For mine, I have a temp folder.
Somewhere.
Whenever I go to do things like save pictures or files, the "save" menu comes up; on occasion, it'll default to the temp folder as a destination unless I select something else. Thus, I know it exists.
Thing is, I can't figure out how to actually get to it and the "search" function pulls up anything and everything that has "temp" as part of the name.
Any ideas on a simpler way for me to locate it?
Thanks.

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp?

Also, it probably defaults because the last used location no longer exists (because you moved/deleted/renamed the folder, or you saved to a removable device that is no longer plugged in).

Easiest way I can think of to check is to click the dropdown at the top of the file dialog when it goes there.

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp? Thanks. It's been so long since I purged it that I was beginning to fear that whatever was in there might be slowing the system down.
