But Northern Ireland doesn't have a smog problem. How do you explain 99% of the population here being fucking retarded? Eh?

I blame the English for thinking it would be a good idea to mix the Scots with the Irish. What good could possibly come from such a deed?
On a random note, I'm not sure I understand the Irish drinking stereotype. Especially when you consider the drink problem the mianland UK has, particulally when combined with sporting events. All the boardline aclholoics I know are English. I don't know any heavy drinkers on this side of the water at all.

I don't make the stereotypes, I just enforce them.

I don't make the stereotypes, I just enforce them. I'd reply with a witty retort, but I'm far too drunk.

The UK is only 18th? That really is a genuine surprise. I guess the UK's massive drinking problem is mostly media hysteria or something similar then.
However, the original "coz they're drunk" comment was made in relation to Northern Ireland which is in the UK. So drinking doesn't explain the retardation of the population here. So I sill win. How exactly, I'm not sure. All I know is I'm definitely right in some way, some how.
I call balls on the wiki table anyway. Iran's alcohol consumption is 0? Bullshit.

Statistics tables are only a reflection of what the country reports. That's why Saudi Arabia has such a low # of rapes, officially.

So is the UK lying about it's alcohol consumption or is it really blown out of proportion by "the media"? Maybe a little from column, a little from column b. Wasn't this thread originally about smog or something? I forget.

Countries that aren't a theocracy or a dictatorship usually don't have a tendency to fudge those details, and why would you make your citizens sound MORE drunk?
