This makes me SO ANGRY. A man files suit over NINE stand-alone copies of the Ten Commandments in his local courthouse, and Josh 1313 says: "Run him out of town. Have businesses refuse to do business with him. People have to start standing up to these people. He needs to learn the law, because posting them is not illegal. Then again, our ideas and beliefs are outdated. When we let the few push us around, we get what we don't stand up for. That's why we are where we are in this country today." Run him out of town! Well, why stop there? Why not beat him up? Burn down his house? Kill his dog? Slash his tires? Hell, why not tie him to the bumper of your pickup and drag him to death down a dirt road?? After all, he has committed the cardinal sin of NOT AGREEING WITH YOU. He's not EXACTLY LIKE YOU. We should RUIN HIS LIFE because he wants a religious display removed from a public building. FUCKERS. Where's my cluebat??? OOPS here's the link: www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?p=1351460#post1351460Out of curiosity, I looked up Joshua 13:13, presumably the source of the username in question. The NIV says, "But the Israelites did not drive out the people of Geshur and Maacah, so they continue to live among the Israelites to this day." The section in general refers to how the Israelites treated some people in a land conquered by Moses. Either he's a Poe, or the irony is painful.

You "heard" it, so that makes it "true," which naturally means all of the other True Christians (c) on that site "probably know" it already?
Bullshit. Bullshit on the claim, too. Not only were the founding fathers deists as we KEEP TELLING YOU, that doesn't strike you as a painfully obvious emotional appeal?
Then again, you people kinda function on 'em....

I love to watch them do this. One of the RRers will proclaim some urban legend as truth, or say that it came to them via email or their pastor or World Nuthouse Daily said it, and all of a sudden it's as if it spilled out of the mouth of Jesus and everyone there believes it. No fact checking, no second guessing, just taken as absolute truth.

If atheists dared not do business with someone or tried to run them out of town because they were Christian or opposed some atheist action, it would be persection and proof that the end was nigh.

That is one of the main reasons that i have stareted to seperate myself from the other members of RR. The majority of members cannot see that if desires were to be applied to them they would be screaming loud enough to make ears ring in China. None of them take an extra minute to reason out that they are the ones doing the persecution to those who disagree with them.

Not only were the founding fathers deists as we KEEP TELLING YOU, that doesn't strike you as a painfully obvious emotional appeal? Some of the founding fathers were deists, some were christians. Even the christian ones were in favor of separation of church and state though. George Washington though... Washington was for all intents and purposes an atheist. There's NO WAY he would have wanted to dedicate the country to god/jesus.

"Run him out of town. Have businesses refuse to do business with him. People have to start standing up to these people. He needs to learn the law, because posting them is not illegal." Someone needs to read up on the first amendment and legal precedent on the issue. Posting the 10 Commandments in a courthouse IS illegal. I can understand christians saying that it shouldn't be illegal (I don't agree but I understand), but to say that it isn't is either a lie or plain old ignorance.

I wonder how the RR crowd would feel it someone decided to post the 10 commandments taken from Exodus 34:11-27;
After all, it is considered to one of the versions of the 10 Commandments

Can't they just add 2 & 2? Of course not! Remember, they think 1+1+1=1.
