I second the feeling oddly betrayed part. We were basically running the thing without Yahweh's help. Yahweh refused to give over some things to Distind to help complete the transfer to a new site owner...but what the f**k? Did Yahweh just have that much hatred when she quit? She did name herself after the world's most notoriously jealous and petty asshole. Guess we of all folks should've seen it coming? ;D It's too bad she chose to take that route though. I mean, she and I didn't get along too well but I sure wouldn't have done something as jerkassed as this to her even if I were able to. That was just mean.

Considering how quickly it disappeared after she said good-bye, it looks like she just decided not to pay for it anymore and let it drop off the face of the earth when the internet-rent came due.
Of course, I'm just guessing. I don't know how these things actually work.

May have been a server side problem instead of the website going completely down for good.

argh!!1
I bought a boxed set of season 3 of Doctor Who on eBay and I'm not entirely satisfied with it. It was meant to be new and sealed. It seemed new and sealed before I opened it but I'm not sure it's legitimate. All six discs were slightly scratched and had lumps on the inside plastic bit. They skip a bit, so I miss out on between a couple of seconds and a couple of minutes of content per disc.
An overenthusiastic parent of mine left positive feedback on the purchase. Hopefully I'll be able to sort it out somehow.

I'm not angry since everything seems okay now, but I'm a little freaked out and sad. I wonder if Yahweh's okay. I hope she is, and I especially hope that she's not having financial problems that caused the site to be too much of a burden, because that has worse implications than our current inconvenience (somewhat more than an inconvenience for Distind). BUT I AM ANGRY AT HAVING SO MUCH WORK TO DO AND AT THE FACT THAT MY READING RETENTION IS CURRENTLY SHIT.
I am also angry that my friend's Kashi bar had live maggots in it, since that makes me wary of all of our food.

Check at your local electronics store- Micro Center has the stuff you need, Best Buy usually has it, and sometimes Wal-Mart has it. But whatever you end up getting, make sure you read the directions, since every brand is a bit different.

I'm royally pissed off that I got a hole in my jacket pocket and lost my keys and mobile phone through it. I'm disappointed at the death of FSTDT1, hopeful for the future of FSTDT2 and happy that the original archives could be recovered.

I haven't tried that yet since I only found out about it after the shops closed and they haven't opened again yet. The thought crossed my mind that I might do that, even though it means paying extra. This probably tipped me over to doing that.

Ugh. My favorite belt (studded one like Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day wears) broke. It had been wearing out for a while. I wonder if I could fix it with some electrical tape....
My car has an oil leak that is going to be fucking expensive to fix.
I need to have my yearly eye exam.
My teeth need a lot of work. Wisdom teeth pulled, a fuckton of cavities, and another root canal. And it's partly my own damn fault.
It's still cold out, and really windy today.
*grumble*

I hit a dog.
Before anyone feels too sad, I checked in, the dog is fine, but sore. My car however has about $3K damage. The bumper has to be replaced and the right headlight unit. Everything's piece work on these new cars. And the dog owner isn't going to help with the bill.
Of course if I had been driving my old Taurus, I'm pretty sure the dog would have been dead.

My shoulder is acting up yet again, despite having more than two years to heal. It's ticking me off because it's making it even harder for me to play guitar than normal. I can cope with it for other things, but I hate it when my shoulder hurts after playing for five minutes. If I didn't love music so much, I'd probably just pick up another hobby, but GOODGODALMIGHTY!!!!

*sighs* I'm fairly late in getting into the refugee forums, as they are. I left for about a year and only a few months ago came back to the forums, so not only am I in the dark with everybody else as to why Yaweh decided to kill the old forums, but I don't even know why she left to begin with or what the circumstances were. (If somebody would care to tell me, that would be nice. Though nobody HAS to.)
Anyway. I hope we can get the new site up and running soon, and I join the ranks PRAISING Distind for all of the work he's putting into this site.
Also, my digital camera went and fucked itself again. It's the same camera having the same problem over and over again, and this is the.... fourth or fifth time it's had this problem. I bought a second camera because this one obviously can't be trusted (so once we get a new forum I can go right back to posting pictures of my naked self), but I'm getting ready to write a nasty-gram to Samsung because they haven't fixed the problem. I was told that I could get a new camera if it happened again, so here's to hoping.
