To be honest, I just want giant Tesla Coils frying penguins around the Mountains of Madness. After all, isn't that what every sane person has ever wanted? I don't know that I'd call Nikola Tesla (or his fans, no offense intended) "sane". The dude had some pretty awesome ideas, and even a few wicked awesome inventions. But he was a total mad scientist. Emphasis on the "mad" part.

Ol' Nico-Nikola was also afraid of human hair, jewelry, and round things. Any reference to sanity on his part is sarcasm, m'lord.

Ok, here's the plan
We go to Antarctica with a bunch of tesla coils and catapults. Then, we launch the tesla coils into the air, replenishing the ozone layer!

Emphasis on the "mad" part. I fail to see the problem. Also, considering we've drastically cut down the use of chlorofluorcarbons, which are what produced the free radicals needed for the degradation of ozone, the system should be able to repair itself. I'm just hesitant about jumping in to 'fix' a something that can do that to itself, because we humans are so good at fucking things up.

Also, isn't a misconception that the ozone hole has much of anything to do with global warming? I can under stand why, they came to public attention at the same time, and they both have to do with the atmosphere and all. But I understand the the ozone layer is currently thought to be on the mend, if slowly, while the causes of global warming are only getting worse.
