Thanks for giving us any sort of details on the article. That was a very thorough summation. Good job.

Really? thats it? Needless was jumped on providing random links and not commenting on them in any way. At least those links were only to funny books not depressing, violent stories. If Sky wanted to talk about the violence associated with sports fanaticism then he should have opened the discussion and then link to the article for those who were interested - I have not clicked the link as I don't feel like ruining my day by seeing a dismembered body. Really? why not just lock it or move it before there is another slinging match?

Since this thread is going to burst into flames anyways, I may as well post this: I saw it on the website that skyfire's article was on. It's called a pearl Fuji, apparently. The original: mdn.mainichi.jp/photojournal/graph/photojournal/1.htmlJust a reminder that good can come out of any thread. Really, however, I don't see the merit of the original article. It must be like that goat curse of the Chicago Cubs or any other sports team loss superstition thing. EDIT2: I have no civil response to this. Just...lol.

(No shocking images in it, I promise)

Hahah right... I don't know whether to be embarrassed for not clicking the link before making a fuss or bemused that anyone would even both posting the link. I still think links without comment are annoying and should be moved. Thanks Current *shuffles away slightly dejected*

I'll admit it. It's a silly story and an amusingly misleading lead-in by Skyfire. I giggled. He's just trying to be a normal poster, people.

I knew what it was going to be as soon as I saw that the link was to a Japanese website. I remember reading about that business on TV Tropes.
