Well I meant marriage haha anyways back to the story Source - health.msn.com/health-topics/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100243399>1=31036So who would of thought that getting that ball and chain strapped to your leg could save you from loosing your mind? Is it a fair trade off? I don't know I'm still deciding personally but what do you all think? Edit- Also I wonder..what if they tested people with pets..you know living with like a dog..or even a cat i guess. Would those results be the same as a married couple?

Its only worth it if its the right person. If that doesn't happen after a certain time, I'll let my closest confidant (probably my brother) know of my wishes: before I completely lose my shit, I want to be sent to a war-torn country (like Iraq) with nothing but battle fatigues and a single gun so that I may die like a true warrior.

Edit- Also I wonder..what if they tested people with pets..you know living with like a dog..or even a cat i guess. Would those results be the same as a married couple? To be pedantic (the best kind of antic), this isn't a cure but a method for risk reduction. Anyway, I doubt that pets would do much, if the reason that being married helps is that it provides new challenges. Most people become habitual with their pets (and spouses, too, but those are more erratic and more likely to present challenges). Perhaps if you developed a new device every day that the cat had to figure out to get its food you'd see benefits. Talking cats with short attention span might improve the prognosis, though.

I think Shivahn just wants an excuse to create genetically engineered catgirls.
Wait, does this mean if you're poly that you have an even lower risk?
Ha! Suck it society! I have science on my side (not really, but they don't need to know that).

I have science on my side (not really, but they don't need to know that). That's so not what I was thinking. Was thinking. It is now though. I think the people at lowest risk are actually those with peudorandom robot lovers. I must invent those. Just to help the Alzheimer's.

My grandma has been married over 60 years, didn't prevent her dementia.
I personally think we should just apply stem cells to the problem. Stem cells are magic, just apply a huge glob right to the brain.

The problem with Alzheimer's isn't cells dying off, it's beta-amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles forming. I would know, I was looking at them earlier today.

Maybe Cag's studying to be a doctor. Depending on weather or not Cag takes that thing as an insult or not, I wouldn't diss a person who may end up saving your ass.

Hopefully it's not taken as an insult. It's not meant as one.
Plus I have trained a monkey to shoot me and make a daring escape if I end up with Alzheimer's. It'll be awesome for the police.
