What's odd to me is that they represent one of the smallest subsets of xtianity, and yet their views are the ones that you hear of the most. They're the ones causing the most trouble in society, and yet there are really very few of them. What's even more odd is that the xtians sects that disagree with them are doing next to nothing to stop them. I've thought about trolling their boards, but then I realized that all that would do is piss me off to an even greater degree towards them than I already feel, and realized that it's not really worth it. I have all the RR I can handle on FSTDT.

I was banned yesterday. In fact, I was IP banned. Luckily for me I only have this IP address for the rest of the semester. I go home for the summer in May, and I'm living elsewhere when I come back in the fall. If I ever do make an account there again, I won't post anything. I just to be able to get into the members only sections. Out of a morbid curiousity, who were you (if you're willing to divulge that). I was Bryan4Christ and they deleted all my posts (just not those who quoted me, lol). I was Ares. I'm pretty surprised they even accepted my registration, actually.

I tried making an account there the other day, and it wouldn't accept my (fake) live email. I didn't want to use my regular (real) home email as it might be linked to here, so I created a fake one. And it wouldn't accept it. Weird. Exactly the same thing happened to me this week. A real email addressed was "banned". How the fuck am I supposed to get saved?

OK, this is strange. Apparently my account is banned, but I can still log in and see the members-only boards. Huh. I can't post, but I can still see everything.

That's what they did to me. I was there, pretending to be a fundie as I tried to see things from their point of view. Then I saw some woman. who was simply trying to have a rational discussion which didn't counter Christianity at all, get her account reduced to Read Only. I got on there and told her not to disagree with the masses; they're not there for discussion. They're there for total agreement. The next time I got on, it said, "Since you don't like out descenting opinions, your account is now Read Only."
Take care,
Jay

Ya ever get the idea that every single user on RR is just a troll? Maybe RR is just a big circle of trolls trolling each other by pretending to be crazy fundamentalists. I had to chuckle at that. I honestly was disappointed that Buzzardhut, Chris and HeIsEnough couldn't stand the fact that I was dancing circles around the RR membership re: liberalism. I was following the rules of the forums, I was backing up my position with the Bible, not cherry picking individual verses like they do and I was completely respectful and had some of the RR crowd engaged in a good conversation. Alas, too much logic for them. Oh well, I'll be back in 3 days. The problem is you were showing them up and making their idiocy show. Egos are a powerful thing, especially when it's an e-penis you've broken

I just got banned myself for telling somebody that if they don't agree with them, they don't belong there. As well as bringing up the hate they have for Obama. I mean to blame the housing crisis onto Obama? Calling tent cities "Obamavilles". This MrMann person thought I was attacking him and he referred to me as a troll. Anyway, it says no reason for ban and that it will never be lifted.

Protip: You can often get a new IP address by unplugging your modem for roughly 5 minutes.

Their IP bans aren't permanent. I was banned last year for trolling, and I regained access within a couple of months (despite the page stating that the ban would never be lifted). I have an account right now, which I use for lurking or occasional posts. I haven't been compromised yet and plan on keeping it that way. It is entirely possible that you have a new IP and don't even know it. I ended up with a new IP after my internet went dead for about 2 hours. For some reason my IP resolved to Elgin, IL which is roughly 150 miles from where I really live. Comcast is so weird sometimes. Or RR clears their IP list from time to time. I kinda doubt that though.

My final post on Rapture Ready. It got deleted. Yeah, you kinda highlighted all their 'no-nos', it's no wonder you were banned. Announcing the Reagan era alone is grounds for a cross burn and lynch
