I watched Friday the 13th last night. All I can say is: "Holy shit!"
Sucks more than life! I like bad horror movies but this one wasn't even funny and all the fighting scenes looked like the whole camera crew was having a epileptic seizure. And if that wasn't bad enough, the movie had way too few zombies.

Rob Roy. Kind of old, but good.

Princess Mononoke. Loved it, although I couldn't talk my sisters into watching it in Japanese...

I just finished watching G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and I feel that I should write this post while the feelings are fresh. And yes, this movie caused some feelings in me, which is extremely uncommon since I'm not too big on the feeling department. The other day, Cait even called me the "The most apathetic person I know".
So how was the movie?
IT SUCKED![/color]
I feel ashamed to admit that I watched the whole damn thing. Sure, I had to take two cigarette breaks but I still... FUCK! I'm so filled with rage that I actually wasted two hours on this piece of shit! And as I already said on IRC, the CGIs made me feel like I was watching some shitty N64 game. This is 2009 goddammit!
I suggest you avoid this movie, no matter how nostalgic it may be. Just to preserve what's left of your sanity.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go drink some bleach and light myself on fire...

Whip It....
I'm not a lesbian, but I still think women in fishnets are hot...and Kristen Wiig is always worth my movie ticket price...

Hmmm... last movie I watched... Pulp Fiction, possibly?
I'll stick with that, since it was the last movie I remember watching, and it was surreal, awesome, and hilarious.

We watched Journeys with George today in government class. It was kind of interesting- we really got to see what life is like on the campaign trail for politicians and the press corps. And Bushisms are funny.

'Prey,' about a family who is touring in Africa when they get attacked by lions. Although it seemed to rip off Jurassic Park a lot (reluctant parental figure trapped in a car with 2 kids as animals try to enter and eat them, and forced to watch helplessly as said lions do eat others), I thought I special effects were pretty good. Usually, you'll see the actual animals, then a quick close-up to hide an awful animatronic one. However, these looked pretty good, and it was hard to figure out where the real ones ended and the fake ones began.
Once again, okay story but very good special effects.
I also bought Mortuary last year but haven't watched it (I forgot I had it). I might do that this weekend.

Watched 15 minutes of Oliver Twist while I was lingering in a class I'm not part of, but no one cared I was there.

I remember when my World History teacher showed us Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Needless to say, I wanted to hug him.

I remember when my World History teacher showed us Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Needless to say, I wanted to hug him. My grade 9 social studies watched parts of that. It was pretty damn awesome. Except today I was sitting in a grade 12 psycology class.
