Agora.
It had it's moments, but other parts felt like I was watching an episode of Hercules, or possibly an atheist passion play. The premise was promising, but over all it was somewhat disappointing. Plus it was depressing, but I guess that part is to be expected.

From Russia With Love.
Sean Connery should have been the only James Bond.

Felidae......
just a word of warning, anyone who likes cats should NOT watch this movie. nor should anyone who has problems with the disembowling, murder, beheading, graphic sex, vivisection, and puppetry of rotting corpses, of said cats.
eugh. and it only gets creepier if you watch it in German...

Ponyo was just released recently in the UK, so I watched that.
I still have a few to get through:- Seven Samurai (I tried watching it once, but I got confused as to who was who). I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok Into The Wild

Sherlock Holmes. Damn good movie.
Definately makes up for Tony Stark being a total doucherag in the first half of Iron Man II.
Despite Sherlock Holmes coming out several months before Iron Man II.

Knight and Day... some places in the movie drop out your suspension of disbelief but it was a fun movie anyway - and I do like to watch Tom Cruz (even if he is a nut in real life.)

I think the last movie I watched was Independence Day.
Yeah, I dunno. It was on TV and there was just nothing better to watch.

The Road. It stayed true to the novel, so it was all puppy dogs and rainbows. Think the only bit from the book that was removed, was also the most disturbing part of the book; the people who ate their newborn.

Fantastic Mr. Fox. Better than I expected, but I have this weird thing about Wes Anderson movies where I'm never quite sure if I'm enjoying them or not. They have a very particular feel that at times is fun and at times overbearing.

Keeping Mum.
Funny ass movie with Mr. Bean in a semi-serious role.

I didn't like Pretty in Pink. Maybe it was because I was coming down from the high of Sixteen Candles/Breakfast Club, but I couldn't get into it. A lot of things just grated on me, not least Molly Ringwald playing a totally unconvincing Plain Girl.

[REC]2. I liked the movie, it was good acting, and the shaky camera technique was used well. However I didn't like the demonic possession angle the directors went with.

Murial's Wedding.
Supposed to be a romantic-comedy, but it was more of a dramady.
Maybe the Australian's think of romantic-comedies differently.
