We were at the gas station, and my stepbrother points to this guy off to the side changing his clothes. This guy is changing his pants without wearing any underwear. I see hairy ass and balls swaying in the wind.
What the hell? I try not to make a big deal about nudity, but if you're going to do that, at least shave your ass.

And here I thought you worded the title to sound something like that, but were meaning you saw some mixed nuts in a bag instead of a can. I guess my question is: why would someone be changing their clothes in a gas station like that, underpants or no?

Well if you are going to accept nudity as natural and not make a big deal about it I would think that it's a small step to accept that human bodies in their natural state are just that natural.
On a personal note I do understand that that people have the desire to only be exposed to what they consider aesthetically appealing. I accept it even if I find it hypocritical.

Does that mean I can get my cock out? I am confused... You don't get your penis out? How do you pee?? Do you shower in pants? Now I will take the bait. If it was up to me there wouldn't be a problem with you getting your dick out anywhere. Or vagina for those that have one. How is that connected with my previous post I don't quite get. What I tried to say is: if you claim to not have a problem with seeing vaginas/cock or any other nudity it's a small step to accepting their looks whatever they are. And I continued by expressing my personal opnion that only accepting the appealing looks is hypocritical even if I understand and accept it.

It's pretty deeply programmed, I think nudity should be fine for anyone, but I even feel awkward in a swimming costume, there's no way I could be nude in public.

Ah come on, if it werent for those pesky public decency laws I'd have done away with all my clothes years ago. Hanging around butt naked is one of life's great pleasures

That's actually kind of funny, in an "OH GOD, WHY?" kind of way. I try not to make a big deal about nudity, either, and for the most part I'm fine with it. But I don't like big hairy asscracks, personally, and I don't really enjoy seeing them, especially in a place (like, say, a gas station) where I don't expect to be confronted--WHOA, HELLO THERE, BOYS!--with upholstered man-parts.
Same here. I try not to mind when other people want to be naked, but my clothes will be staying ON, thank you very much. (I can't even remember the last time I wore a swimsuit anywhere. It had to be at least four years ago.)

I dunno if any of you saw it in the news, but Brattleboro, Vermont got attention like two summers ago as the "nudie town."A few people, primarily two guys and a girl, were going around downtown nekkid, because we lacked any laws. Then some old guy from Arizona came up here and walked around with nothing but a fannypack, and the great witch hunt began. Anyway, I'm in the Sandfluffoid Caitsidhe boat, where I'm fine with nudity, but I'm not going to go parading it around. I have, but then I gained weight, and well, I'm doing everyone a favor. However, one of the things that astounded me was the number of people who complained that the girl shouldn't go around naked simply because she wasn't Barbie. I can't help but think that almost nobody would complain if she was a model.... ...In fact, when two models used our town for a publicity stunt, posing nekkid in Pliny Park, it stirred up a lot of talk, but far less negative talk. Dropping your pants at a gas station just seems like a bad idea.

I wouldn't be one of the people complaining if I saw someone naked in any situation. I can understand, though, that there are things other people really don't want to see.

Oh yeah, city council (or whoever) went back an forth a couple times but it ended up banned didn't it? Too bad. I don't see what harm having the occasional naked person around could do (even if they're ugly). I mean it just adds local color.

It's currently a fineable offense so it's technically not banned, but close enough. They're fighting it on the grounds that it's sexist (Women can't go topless, but men can), and some people want to ban it altogether, but I think we are where we are going to stay. And to think, the people who objected weren't even locals....
