Cats Cradle is far better. I'm actually finding it much more boring than atlas shrugged.

Differences in taste. Atlas Shrugged bored me to death and I hated the writing style. Finished Cat's Cradle in an afternoon waiting for my car to be fixed.

Finished Good Omens, nothing less than what I expected of Gaiman and Pratchett. Now I am reading The Arms Race to Armageddon by the Generals for Peace and Disarmament. For NATO generals during the 70s-80s, they are pretty damn left.

Back to Ravenor. Can't wait until the new Gaunt comes out. Ohmygodravenorisamazing. Not as good as Eisenhorn to my mind. Though the omnibus is a damn sexy tome.

Not as good as Eisenhorn to my mind. Though the omnibus is a damn sexy tome. Hmmm. I thought Ravenor was among the best sci-fi I've ever read. Eisenhorn, I thought, was both too epic and (more) juvenile writing. You can really see Abnett's writing mature. But even his early stuff is unbelievably good; this is just relative. Milage may vary, of course.

I heard trilogy. TRILOGY. I heard trilogy then book, now we're back to trilogy.... It's supposed to be about Bequin, how that's going to happen as she's now on life support dear knows. I'd rather hear what's going to happen to Zael and Frauka.

The Bad Queen: Rules and Instructions for Marie-Antoinette. I've been on a historical fiction kick for quite some time.
