One step further toward my dominion over this pathetic planet... Let it be known, I shall be the first human to become an eternal, immoral machine, and I will make Skynet look like Mahatma fucking Gandhi. Hmmm...This complicates my intent to become the first sentient computer virus.

You could work with me. Increased cyberization would mean some hellacious damage potential.

You could work with me. Increased cyberization would mean some hellacious damage potential. I'm sure there's a short story where someone uploads their consciousness, but doesn't realize that they're going to just be run and have no abilities. So they're stuck without a body. If not, I should write one.

It would be great to have books uploaded into your brain. I don't know how the brain works, but I would assume that receiving so much information at once wouldn't be good. I'm probably wrong about that, though. Head explody isn't good, actually. Sorry, I just couldn't help it.

That's a fascinating idea. It was made stale by the introduction of future over-amped game systems though.
If the upload process ever gets into serious consideration, I wonder if trying it on the brains of dead people would be effective as a preliminary experiment.
Oh... imagine, all of the things we could learn... XD

I wonder if there would be a way that we could interpret all the data on a disconnected brain in a (ironically) human-readable way...like pretty pictures or movies.
Good god...the amount of space that would take up, though. Although, being able to create music and art with just your brain would help those people who, like me, have very beautiful (or horrifying...or fucking sweet) images and music in their head, but when they try to translate them to their fingers, something gets scrambled in translation and it turns into shit.
