Heading to Spring Break armed with "Way of the Master" teaching from Comfort and Cameron doesn't sound like an effective way to witness, but that's just me. Here's an excerpt from "The Unlikely Disciple: A sinner's semester at America's holiest university" www.salon.com/mwt/excerpt/2009/03/18/unlikely_disciple/

The saddest part is the conclusion Roose draws from this: Evangelizing is how these people decide that they are meant to be victims. The whole thing was so depressing. I truly feel sorry for these poor, brainwashed kids.

I truly feel sorry for these poor, brainwashed kids. Of course. They set themselves up in such a way that their beliefs are at complete odds with what they see in the world. And when they're at odds, they're 'under attack'. But hey, if this is their only chance in seeing tits before marriage, so be it.

Which is absurd because I thought boobs are god given? Why do they cover their eyes if their god supposedly made those?

great article it might convince me to buy the book Hell, once I get money, I am buying the book. Not only does it look like an interesting read, it has the added bonus of making my fundie aunt think I'm interested in Christianity when I'm really not. She never actually gets past the first few pages of a book, unless it's on tape, you see. Too many words, and too little time.

Terrific article, and I'm planning to buy the book in a bit, too. I dealt with evangelists during Spring Break in Daytona Beach, too, though I don't think it was this group. They'll also come out during Race Week and Bike Week, and I don't think the results are much better for those events.
Roose's conclusion really rang true for me. I hope those students at Liberty (what a horribly ironic name) eventually understand what's being done to them, too.

When the blonde -- who is maybe 18 -- removes her tube top to reveal a pair of star-shaped nipple shields, a short, demure college sophomore named Brandon holds his beach towel over his eyes. On his wrist sits a white "LivePure" bracelet.

Well it's everyone's chance except Brandon anyway.

Well it's everyone's chance except Brandon anyway. How are breasts impure anyway? Why would a pure god make something impure? And how does seeing a boob make one "impure"?

When those tits belong on hotchickswithdouchbags.com. And they're on a man. Case in point: www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com/uploaded_images/93069-754015.jpg

Wow, and I thought I had a lame spring break planned: I'm spending the whole week locked up in my house on the Internet. At least I'm not going around annoying people ON spring break with evangelism stuff...
