1. Humans should not try to thwart the will of God by using contraceptives. Because humans can apparently thwart the will of an all-powerful omniscient God.
2. Birth control pills are abortifacients that stop a fetus from clinging to the uterine wall, or something like that.
3. Sex is for procreation not pleasure.
4. Condoms and vasectomies divert the precious bodily fluids from men that are meant to make babies.
5. Keep those kiddies coming so we can dominate the world demographically!

One off of the admin board today:
Women use birth control for the same reason that women have abortions. Selfish reasons like "I'm not ready to have a child". Well that's not exact, but it's close.

Birth control is hated by fundies for the same reason that abortion is hated by fundies: it lessens their death-grip of control on women. A woman who has control over her reproductive options, who can decide when or if she wants to have children and isn't totally under the control of her biology, is a woman that can't be easily controlled. This means what a woman does isn't controlled by the men who impregnate them. I mean, give them the power to control their fertility, and the next thing you know, they'll start thinking of themselves as HUMAN BEINGS! They might even want equal pay for equal work! They might even want to VOTE! *gasp!*
Also, as other people have said, no birth control means more babies, and more babies born into their ranks means they keep their ranks full. It's easier to brainwash and indoctrinate people from birth than it is to convert full-grown, intelligent adults with their bullshit.
The other reasons--BC fucks over 'god's plans' for us, birth control is murder, birth control is unnatural--are just a cover for the real reasons they don't want people controlling their reproduction.

This is the one that always makes me shake my head. The will of omnipotent, omniscient, all-powerful God, creator and sustainer of all that is and was and every shall be, holy and sovereign Lord of all creation, can be thwarted by a paper-thin piece of latex rubber. Who knew it was that easy!

One off of the admin board today: Women use birth control for the same reason that women have abortions. Selfish reasons like "I'm not ready to have a child". Well that's not exact, but it's close. I've never understood this reasoning. Surely if a woman is on birth control there is a reason. It could be medical but it could also be because she doesn't want a baby, can't support a child, isn't ready to have one etc etc. Do fundies really want women who do not want or cannot support children to have them? Surely women are being responsible by not bringing children into the world that their either do not want or cannot support or whatever reason they have chosen not to have them. I fully feel that those who have children, have to look after those kids as best they can. it's a lifelong commitment. This means making certain sacrifices and putting your children first. If someone is not willing to put that amount of commitment into looking after their children and is wise enough to know it and therefore made a wise decision to use some form of contraceptive, then they are being responsible. What isn't responsible is popping out babies that you simply can't support because you think that not being pregnant all the time is an abomination to some deity. What isn't responsible is having kids that you don't want and don't care for. Or is this just another case of fundie logic where they don't care what the hell happens to children as long as they are born. Quite honestly I'd rather be considered selfish by the fundies than have some poor innocent children not being looked after and cared for by their parents.

It could be medical but it could also be because she doesn't want a baby, can't support a child, isn't ready to have one etc etc. If God didn't think she was ready to have a baby, He wouldn't give her one! God will provide! Any woman who chooses not to have as many babies as possible is going against her God-given nature! The purpose of women is to give men strong sons to carry on the family name! No woman is ever really child-free. Those who think they are just haven't experienced the wonders of motherhood. If they would just give up their selfish desires and give in to God's Will, they, too, will bask in the glories of having children. OK, I'm done with snark. Now excuse me, I'm going to vomit.

3. Sex is for procreation not pleasure. Then why does sex still feel good when a couple is having sex to make babies?

Anyway, I love the doublethink. People have mused about how easy it is to thwart God's will, but why would God make it so easy to thwart? And on a side note, if STDs are punishment for sex, why are they so easy to beat?

Does the woman even move? And does the guy just lay on top and slowly moving nothing but his hips, up and down? And is anything said at all?
