He had an argument with a Calvinist over there, and he edited the guy's post, apparently because he was using repetitive text and other devices Troy often uses himself on other forums. The thread, although long-winded and deeply religious, is an entertaining read, as it shows him indulging in behavior he considers completely unacceptable when he's posting on other forums. Notice the difference though that you admit that Calvinist kept avoiding with long-winded repetitions instead of responding to the responses given. That's different than reposting the same thing that you or fstdt'ers avoid such as the 4 Step Proof for God and the Minimal Facts Approach. There is a difference between a person who repeats something that is continually avoided, and someone who repeats something but doesn't respond to responses of the repetitive errors. Think about that. Discern what I just said. Don't shut your mind down. There are two ways to shut your mind down here: 1) repetitively avoiding either by a) negligent silence or b) evasive regurgitation; and 2) banning repetitively to avoid the data. biblocality.com/forums/showthread.php?3476-4-Step-Proof-for-God-Minimal-Facts-Approachbiblocality.com/forums/chat/

Data? What data? What you have there is a "proof" based on poor logic an unfounded assumptions.

There are 4 major beliefs that make up 90% of beliefs. Since an accessible God is better than an inaccessible god, then your only choices are: 1) Christianity, Islam, Hinduism/Buddhism, Atheism/Agnosticism. Since atheism/agnosticism denies God exists and God is proven, then that just leaves 3 choices. Since Islam says Jesus never died, you can throw out Islam. And since Hinduism accepts a misrepresented Jesus which conflicts with Christian exclusivism, then only one is right. Christianity. Praise the Lord! biblocality.com/forums/chat/If you don't accept Jesus as God, died for your sins and was resurrected, then you will go to Hell. God is just giving you what you want. You send yourself to Hell.

First of all, no one "sends themselves to Hell." If Hell exists, no one chooses to go there. Here's my proof: You can't leave Hell.
You are being detained against your will. Not a choice.
But that's not what I really want to comment on. I REALLY want to comment on your "deduction":
1. An accessible God is better than an inaccessible God.
Why? If truth is truth, this should not matter.
2. Atheism/agnosticism says God is not proven.
And it isn't. What's your point?
4. Islam says Jesus never died, so you can throw it out.
Wrong. Islam says Jesus died. It probably says Jesus came back. They say he's just a prophet. Either way, why can you "throw it out"?
5. Hinduism accepts a misrepresented Jesus.
Hinduism has nothing to do with Jesus. What are you babbling about?
6. So only Christianity is right.
You've gone through this list with the preconceived notion that Christianity is right, then just came up with excuses to "throw out" the other religions. There is no logical progression with any of these points. In fact, one can easily "throw out" Christianity on the grounds that it says good deeds don't matter, unlike other religions.
damnmit, couldn't you have waited for a few days to ban him? I'm always left out of the fun!

Not the 4 Step idiot again.
Dude, don't you realize that according to Christianity, nothing is perfect except for God? So how can you claim your "proof" is perfect? To even suggest such a thing is to blaspheme.

Since an accessible God is better than an inaccessible god, Really? Why? This is an argument from your personal preference. By the same logic, a homosexual could argue that since a homosexual god is preferable to a heterosexual god, that therefore god is gay. By your logic, since un-melted ice cream is better than melted ice cream, there is no such thing as melting ice cream. This "reason" pre-supposes that Jesus was A) divine, B) died, C) existed in the first place. Of course if you set as one of the parameters of the argument that Jesus of Nazareth lived, died, and was resurrected, OF COURSE only Christianity makes the cut. Same as above. You set as a pre-existing parameter of the argument that Christianity has a correct interpretation of Jesus. OF COURSE only Christianity makes the cut! The fact that you still do not see the silliness of your own arguments does not bode well for your intelligence or your future. Rather than waste time on foolishness, perhaps you should devote more efforts to actually formulating real arguments.
