ANYTHING you do is okay just as long as you accept Jesus and repent and go to church! Didn't you get that memo? Pssh.

My personal favourite is Lisa...a true show of gods love...rape your (what 6-7 year old?)daughter, pimp her out to the neighbor when he blackmails you...but all you have to do is pray and all is forgiven. The Doctor wont turn you in to the cops, neither will your wife, or the neighbor apparently, nor the daughter. No she is all happy that daddy rapist has suddenly found god... You can see why Lisa is not on his website any longer...even a sick fuck like chick had to disown that one.

What I really love about the Chick Tracts is that he "adapts them for black audiences" as if salvation for black people is different from that of white people. In fact, his tracts are all predominantly white; but the few minorities he does put in are all disturbing, racist caricatures and stereotypes....

Reading that one gave me the creeps. Esp the last square, where the father says everything is so wonderful now. No, things aren't perfect, but anyone reading that POS is going to think victims of sexual abuse can be cured as long as their abuser stops. (Then again, does anyone take Chick tracts seriously?

I just read "Lisa." Holy crap. So what he did to her is okay because he's found God? Screwed up! I believe stems from the idea in the born again Christian sects that once you accept Jesus in to your heart(what ever that means) you are saved and forgiven. And of course once you are saved you're suddenly chaged in to a good person and will never do bad again.

Chick believes that we are all despicable scum who deserve to go to hell, regardless of our actions, unless we accept Jesus. Not believing in the right god the right way is worse than sexually abusing your daughter.

Yes, Chick does that. You'll find two different version of "That Crazy Guy!" One where the girl ends up with herpes, and another where she gets AIDS. "Is there Another Christ?" has two covers: one of a fat monk, another of a priest holding a picture of Jesus in front of his face. "Support Your Local Jew" became "Jeopardy" became "Love the Jewish People." The original of "Allah Had No Son" had child abuse allegations that were removed on later printings. That's one reason that finding some of these can be so damn difficult.

Well I've been told on more than one occasion to "just get over it". In fact when I was 10 and came forward to my father and his wife (it was my mothers boyfriend who was molesting me) I was told that wasn't child abuse. Child abuse is dirty old men who leap out of bushes and drag little girls into the back of vans to rape them. I've heard that the ability for someone to handle the abuse is in proportion to how well the situation was handled at the time. I truly believe this.

"Wounded Children" was slanderous and "Lisa" was just messed up.

In all his adapted tracts, the main characters are black... but God is still white. And he condemns evolution as racist.

Okay, so I've seen an image macro that apparently came from a Chick Tract: Guy holding a sandwhich saying "This is a ____. It is made of _____ and ____."
What the hell was the context?!

Well now lets not forget that the real villain was actually Lisa's mother because she stopped giving it up to her husband when he started drinking too much...it is all her fault Lisa got raped by her father.
A dutiful godfearing wife would lay on her back and let the drunken, unshaved, and unshowered slob mount her whenever he wanted. Then he wouldn't have had to rape his own daughter to relieve his lust.
It is the womans fault...as always since Eve bit into that damned apple.
(Seriously as much as the fundies scare me when they hint that without big daddy god watching over their shoulder they would be free to kill and maim at will. They scare me even more with shit like this.)

Lisa has to be the sickest one. Here's something that's bothered me about that one since I first read it years ago. Every tract is drawn with the audience in mind; many of them address specific issues or sins. You give out something like "Sin City" to homosexuals. You leave copies of "The Death Cookie" on the pews in a Catholic church. "A Love Story" is a good all purpose one. With that in mind, my concern is, first off, just who the hell were you supposed to give that one to, and how the hell would you know? The mind boggles. HUh. I never thought of that. Like "Please pass this on to the child molester in your life." I suppose Chick figured God would guide to someone who needed it... or something. I just read "Lisa." Holy crap. So what he did to her is okay because he's found God? Screwed up! Chick believes that we are all despicable scum who deserve to go to hell, regardless of our actions, unless we accept Jesus. Not believing in the right god the right way is worse than sexually abusing your daughter. Pretty much. That has always been Chick's message. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, only if you accept Jesus. The implication is that Jesus will make you good, but that's almost an afterthought. Actually he did make one tract where he admits it's not that easy. I believe I heard it was his first tract ever. Okay, so I've seen an image macro that apparently came from a Chick Tract: Guy holding a sandwhich saying "This is a ____. It is made of _____ and ____." What the hell was the context?! Behold!
