Took a key off my laptop. Ugh.

Mine gets bored and starts racing around the house at 5am, every morning. Maybe yours should meet mine. He does the same thing, interspersed with many miaows and growls. And if you dare try and close him out of the bedroom, he will shout the house down.

Oh yeah. Mine learned how to open doors, so you close one on him and he'll go throw himself at it trying to get to the handle.

We have eight cats, and four of them can open doors. I had four and L'Ailee had three, and then we adopted another together. We have, like, a Brady Bunch of cats.
This week, most of them have been avoiding me because I'm sick, except my sweet little "healer" kitty Kurtney. So they haven't really done bad things to me. But a couple weeks ago, a chrysoprase (fairly expensive semi-precious apple green gemstone) bead came off one of my earrings, and my Naomi thought it looked appetizing. She got it before I could. I decided I could live without it and put the other earring away until I could get it another partner. I make most of my own earrings; I'll have to make sure the stones are bonded better next time. I can't enforce "no cats in the room when we take off jewelry," unfortunately.

Mine just doesn't sit still for more than a few minutes or so at a time. Very annoying, really. Or he just yells at me.

Cut me pretty deep with his hind claws. He was trying to climb onto my leg. It was very painful, but he didn't mean to hurt me. He's a good cat.

Not even blue jeans are impervious to a cat's claws. And when Peanut -- who ways 16 pounds -- wants up, he wants up. This occurs nearly every time I sit at the kitchen table. But he's such a sweet guy I simply grimace silently. His companion, Miss Piggy, is a black, nine-pound bundle of neurotic destruction. She pays no heed to my reminders of a nearby dog food factory. (It's a lie, but I have to have some advantage.

I once fell asleep in a chair with the cat on my lap. I woke up a few hours later, and tried to turf him off. Without missing a beat he calmly put one of his paws on my throat and extends his claws ever so slightly. I spent 6 hours in that chair before he finally got bored and went in search of food.
We call him spiky cat for a reason.

Yesterday morning while I was sleeping after working midnights, two of our cats took turns using my head as a stepping stone to get to the window above the head of the bed.

Mine does it when he jumps down though. So did one of the old cats on the farm. That shit hurts!! >.< I don't let my cat sleep with me in my bed; he won't sit still long enough! Sometimes if I go to take a nap on the couch he'll sleep with me though.

My cat is never home to do any thing bad.
I used to have this kitten that would climb up my dad's leg while he was making a sandwich.

He's very warm and soft. I actually went to sleep with him there last night. He is the best cat.
