Once a while I see a quote where a fundy demonstrates his/her utmost stupidity, I see a FSTDTer calling it a Poe....what does that mean? If its associated with Edgar Allan Poe....I don' get it For example fstdt.com/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=70010

Poe's Law states, "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing." So when someone calls a quote a Poe, they are saying they think it is satire, or someone trying to imitate a fundamentalist.
