Well its a knock on effect, when your religion tells you that you are evil and are going to hell you are far more likely to question your faith, and that leads you down the route to fstdt. Or it tells you to "cure" yourself. Because staring at tits all day will make you straight. Fashion designers should prove that, yes?

I made a topic about NARTH awhile back pdc1987, its gets more pathetic.: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NARTH#Medical_view_of_conversion_therapyMajor organizations that reject therapy to change sexual orientation include the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Association of School Administrators, the American Federation of Teachers, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the National Education Association.[22]
NARTH rejects these claims, arguing that the psychological and psychiatric professional associations have become little more than the research arms of the gay rights movement.[23] A. Dean Byrd commented in a press release that a paper by Jeffrey Satinover showed that, "...gay advocates have created fraudulent studies and misused, misquoted, and mischaracterized other research studies for political gain. These reports are frequently used in court cases to bring about victories for gay activism."[24] They're no different from the creationist groups. Just wave afew PHDs around to reinforce their followers idiotic beliefs. When every single credible institution in the field says they're full of shit they just scream conspiracy and their audience and it's giant persecution complex eats it up. They have Dr. Phil on their webpage, I think he supports them. So Oprah "there's nothing wrong with being gay" Winfrey needs her ass beat for giving him his career. This stuff really upsets me. It makes me want to cry when I think about all the young gay guys and girls that are told they can be "cured." I can't even fathom it.

They have Doctor Phil? Well fuck! We didn't need anything else to debunk them.

Hell, gay male fashion designers even touch boobs when they adjust the clothes on the runway models!

My fiancee claims she can turn straight women gay, or at least bi. It doesn't work on everyone, but she says she has quite a track record.
At the least, the description of her method would make a great porno.

Good call! Hell, gay male fashion designers even touch boobs when they adjust the clothes on the runway models! I dunno...I was considered gay when I was doing fashion. Now I'm a lesbian.... ...Wait. Something doesn't add up there. My fiancee claims she can turn straight women gay, or at least bi. It doesn't work on everyone, but she says she has quite a track record. At the least, the description of her method would make a great porno. I must challenge her to a conversion contest.

I'm bi. I am terrified to admit it to my parents, especially after Dad's comment this morning.
See, they were watching a movie about a family with a gay son. He basically said that if it had been his kid, he'd have kicked the guy to the curb and never seen him again. He was PROUD of this point of view.

It needs to be used and it needs to be used now.

And fear of that sort of reaction has kept me in the closet. Though to be fair, a lot of people do wake up when they find out one of their own was gay. And I'd feel more reassured on that point myself if I didn't have a lesbian aunt who my Mom was a bitch to.

Er, perhaps tell them once you've moved out or something. My parents flipped out on me and I just admitted to being an atheist (at least you can change your religious preference...). Edit: Wish I knew more bisexual women, I'm more attracted to them than hetero girls.
