I play guitar poorly, sing like an asthmatic bat, and I can produce basic chords or melodies with piano/keyboards. I try to be a songwriter, there's a bunch of crappy home-made demos, but it's been about 6 months of nothing. Maybe it'll come back some time.

I am a trumpet player. I have some training in Violin. I also have an acoustic guitar that I pluck once in a while. I also used to 'play' the family piano when we could fit it in our house.

Bassist/Guitarist here. I have an Ovation acoustic that was my father's first guitar and I play an Ibanez 5 string bass for my band, Cassandra Syndrome.

Joe, I just looked your website. Very not bad. Worth getting a babysitter and checking out a show.

Piano, Organ (as in pipes), choirmaster, composer, singer, none of which are particularly portable or useful at parties.

Used to be pretty decent in drums, in a school band back in 5th grade... I want to learn guitar, flute and piano, of late... but that takes money and time. I also am rather proud of my old choir work. I started as a male soprano, then puberty kicked me twice vocally... first it made me a tenor, then turned me into a bass.
... I miss my old tenor range...

I used to play the keyboard, but I didn't have access to it in first year, and I never got back into the habit of practicing it.
My singing suffers from two things: firstly, the break in my vocal range is inconveniently placed for me to sing tenor, and I can't reach accurately enough to the bottom of a lot of bass parts; and secondly, that to me I sound about a third plus a quarter of a tone higher than I do to everyone else, which means I need to be really awake to keep in tune. Practice would probably help with that, though, but learning to sing properly is a fair way down the list of things I ought to do with my free time.

Didn't feel like making a new thread, but here's me playing an instrument: www.youtube.com/user/ZacharyAmaranthI can sing better when I'm not playing and play better when I'm not singing, but if I go through a music editor, I never get anything done because I obsess over everything being perfect. If I take a guitar and sit in front of a camera and sing, I usually feel so relieved I got to the end of the song I don't have the energy to nitpick. Anyway, I';m aware it's not brilliant, but it is me.
