After discovering that comics are not allowed to be submitted I have begun to question what other sources are not allowed. I am under the impression that books are still allowed, hopefully.

I was not here in 2006.
Also, I did not see any comics in the search you provided, Tai.
Anyway, books are not allowed. Why would books be allowed? Explain the logic behind that one to me please.
EDIT: Also, I want to make a distinction between comics and tracts. Comics are designed by function to entertain. Tracts are designed to tell the 'truth' about a thing and convert someone to their viewpoint.
I will also say, the name of the site is Fundies SAY the Darndest Things, not Fundies Draw the Darndest Things. If the fundie themselves is not directly saying it, by definition it does not count.

Barring a book with an online version which is publicly linkable I'd have to back Renae up on this one.
That said I've seen a number of online 'books' where I've almost created a subsection devoted to tearing apart.

Might not be so bad to split the site into sections based on the media (video, Internet forum, etc)

While I can't condone using videos as standard quote sources, I wouldn't necessarily mind having something like a Fundie Video of the Week or something like that where videos get submitted, they get reviewed by Mods once a week (not standard PubAd... maybe a special hand-picked team of the best PubAd people, though? would take some thinking), and the best video submitted that week would go in the slot. Maybe it would have to start with Fundie Video of the Month until we start getting enough submissions that we can actually do a weekly thing without having to settle for something that doesn't qualify? We could even set up a category of fundie we'd like people to find for the next month's/week's video so we make sure we aren't always featuring Christians.
Thoughts, anyone?

It might be hard to implement - if we take on YouTube videos that is (Youtube is known for it's flaming and poes/trolls after all). Perhaps we could put together a arguement and counter arguement video. For example, a Fundie claims evolution is a lie in a video and backs it up with 'proof', we then create a video of the relevant proofs that disprove the fundies assertion and embed that underneath the Fundie video.
On your idea, LR, we could look for a specific religion or specific beleif each month - both seem good in highlighting Fundie-ism from all areas.
