... back.
I know, I know, you all missed me horribly and you had no idea what to do with yourselves while I was away.
So, life updates? I'm in college now, an English major, but I'm trying to get into the nursing program here. It's cucking fold, I can't stand it.
In January, I was briefly dating this hardcore Catholic... Mass every Sunday, former Catholic schoolboy, church service still in Latin... That sort of Catholic. We agreed to disagree on almost everything. We even seemed to be respecting the other's opinions-- respecting, so long as he didn't say anything bigoted or intolerant.
Things were going great, things were going swell, then one day I asked him -- In the off-chance things continued going well into the future -- if he expected me to convert to Catholicism. He dodged around the question until finally giving me his answer... Yes, I would be required to BE Catholic if things were to continue going well. I said, verbatim, "Honestly, I will never be a Catholic. If it's important to you, I'd go to Mass with you, I'd go to confession, I'd even say my ROSARY, but I will: Never. Be. Catholic. It's against my morals." He told me he was sorry, it was over, and I mimed dusting dirt off my shoulder. I hugged him and told him I wished him the best of luck in life, I hoped he found what he was looking for, and thanks for the good time. Then, with a charming smile, I nudged my head toward the door and said, "You can leave now."
Can you believe it? Religious intolerance from a Christian. Who would've thought. But I wasn't angry about it, really, and I'm still not. As long as no one is telling me what to think, how to think, and how to sit at the table, I'm golden. Live and let live.
So, pictures are required.
Now you can all dissolve into telling me how much you missed me.
