,,bgikdfrnmjmh My daughter has discovered the keyboard and mouse. I've been playing the 'how did you get it to do that?' game for the last 20 minutes or so.

Sometimes I let my mom's daycare kids sit with me at the computer. They ususally end up on the floor two minutes later.

Aww... I remember when my little cousin was visiting and I was trying to type an email. My poor friend got a very random email. Once I explained to her what happened, though, it was OK. Little kids and computers don't really mix... but then again, my dad was teaching me to use the computer when I was 2, so I guess I can't really talk. ^^

Some fairly articulate, reasoned and coherent thoughts there, but then I can only judge by my own standards.

Considering I was learning DOS when I was four, I can't really comment on toddlers and their use of computers, but I will say that is absolutely adorable. ^-^

In a thread called Toddler Posting a person with the username Perv posts. I can't help but laugh. That is funny, thanks for pointing it out. On a completly unrelated note Perv did I ever tell you that I've got a shotgun, a trenching spade, and an over-protective streak?

Considering I was learning DOS when I was four, I can't really comment on toddlers and their use of computers, but I will say that is absolutely adorable. ^-^ So my putting windows into dos mode so she couldn't move and delete things with a click of the mouse might not have been as safe a thing to do as I thought. "Where did you learn how to type the word format !!!! !!!!!"

On a completly unrelated note Perv did I ever tell you that I've got a shotgun, a trenching spade, and an over-protective streak? Well considering you're in another country, you haven't got much to worry about until she starts "sexting". You mean not all kids know the command "format c: u"? That should be, format c: /u

I don't know about the computer, but my 5 year old cousin is really good with the DVD player.

Well considering you're in another country, you haven't got much to worry about until she starts "sexting". You know why fathers are protective of their daughters? It's because we know how adolescent boys think and act.
