The Riddle of Epicuris Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
i posted this under religions forum and i think i should have put it here.

Yeah, it is more appropriate here, since you are being rather preachy.

This thread is bordering on spam. If the comments were anything new, it'd be one thing. As it is, it's just someone crowing and dancing where he doesn't think anyone can shoot back. Too bad for you we have a number of respected posters here who happen to believe in a god of some variety.
Note to all: He's your plaything in F&B, especially since he started a garbage thread in there. Have fun in the appropriate forum. And don't feed him elsewhere, as I suspect he's a troll.

Merriam Webster has 2 definitions. One is "morally reprehensible," the other is "causing discomfort, repulsion, or harm."

*laughs hysterically at the idea tha a god MUST be omnipotent, omnipresent, AND omnibenevolent, and not just one or two of the three*

I don't see why a deity would have to be omnianything.

Merriam Webster has 2 definitions. One is "morally reprehensible," the other is "causing discomfort, repulsion, or harm." On the second one, why did organized religion happen to be the first thing i thought of?
