Well, aside from the fact that Shane and I are having ridiculous problems trying to download it (It keeps saying purchase rejected, even though it doesn't give us the opportunity to actually input any purchasing information), yeah.

Beat Hazard is an interesting game even tho I don't quite understand how it works other than 'don't get hit with the ships, torpedoes, and rocks'.

Has anyone here played The Ship? I grabbed it a short while ago as it looked like a very rare species. A multiplayer game that I would actually enjoy. Basically it's a battle royal sort of thing in which every player is assigned another player as a target, which they then have to hunt down and discreetly assassinate. Would anyone else here be interested in a game at some point?

I also have such a game thanks to Miles. Haven't had a chance to install and play though. Been busy with other games.

Likewise, though that's because my mouse is in a different city. I'd rather not have to play with a track pad, at least until I'm no longer a noob.

Would you be up for a game in a week or so (Shane too, come to think of it)?

I'd be willing to take a crack at it with y'all after I've had a chance to take a look at it and get used to the controls and all that.

9 games into NHL 11's Be a Pro Mode and my defenseman's got over 200 penalty minutes . . . and 4 goals.

Sounds fun, if you still have one of the free copies. I'm MaybeNever on Steam, too.

In related news, I finally got Mass effect 1 working. I bought it a year ago but it didn't work on my old computer (I tried using compatibility modes) but yesterday I finally got it started. Lucily I had resisted the urge to read the story or watch a playtrough so I have not been exposed to that many spoilers. So far the game looks fun. Update: Yesterday I finished Mass effect 2. What happened was a video game equivalent of binge drinking... I played ME1 almost non-stop and as soon as I had finished it I bought ME2 from Steam. Observations on ME1: -Matriarch what-her-name punched me through a wall. Her attack made Shepard glitch and slowly float past the walls of the level into the abyss... -Wrex is cool. -So are the rest of the NPCs. -The story was very good. -Sovereign was one of the cooler big-bads and his theme music is awesome. -The characters and alien species are awesome. The aliens actually are more than just "actors with false ears." -Great voice actors. Observations on ME2: -Wrex is cool. -Story is as good as the last game. -I liked the most of the changes to the gameplay. It was a simplified version of ME1 but I have never really cared for constantly modifying and changing my gear so this removed a lot of tinkering. The change to the "ammo" system on the other hand was not to my liking. Storywise the solution was silly and it was simply made because the fans didn't like the system in ME1. -Garrus and Tali really grew as characters, I even began to like Joker in ME2. -Illusive man was an interesting character. -On the other hand the big-bad was not so well made. The harbinger remained a rather one-dimensional character and didn't have the same dread that Sovereign and Saren did. -LEGION IS AWESOME! Another interesting thing is that I actually managed to avoid spoilers, and using guides untill near the end of ME2. wonderful experiense and I really look forward to ME3.
