Yeah, that video is pretty stupid. However, I think this video might top it: ahahahahahahahahahahaha, I just LOVE how they use the Justice System analogy, yet their God violates the very principles of justice - Punishment ought to fit the crime - A simple "OMG" subjects me to the same penalty as a murderer. Brilliant...

Umm... I don't think I saw anything wrong with the video in the OP. All I saw was just some silliness with the Invisible Pink Unicorn. If the creator of the vid intended to make a more serious point with the video, then it sure has failed, because all I got on my end was some silly humour. That's kinda what I thought at first too, until I looked at the blog post where the creator explains his reasoning for it, and it's basically calling atheists hypocritical because they believe in directed panspermia, even though there's no evidence for it. For one thing, most atheists DON'T believe in directed panspermia, but the video implies they do. Oxhorn even sites the Richard Dawkins interview in Expelled as evidence of this. *facepalm* For another thing, by having the IPU kill the engineers, he's both implying that atheists deserve to be murdered and that atheists aren't honest skeptics who see a lack of evidence for god, but "self important" bastards who ignore obvious proof of god's existence. For one more thing, he either doesn't realize that all the arguments he's making in the video can be turned right around on his religion, in which case he's stupid, or he DOES realize it, but threw in the appearance of the IPU at the end in order to validate his side, in which case he's a hypocrite. It's hardly the worst religious video on YouTube, but I guess I was just disappointed because I thought Oxhorn was more intelligent than that.

In the light of this information, then I'd say he's a fair bit stupider than previously thought, because he intended to make a point that really wasn't that obvious in the video. What I got was merely an interplay between silly belief vs silly belief, not something that said Atheist vs Theist. The whole giant crystal thing actually worked against creating the latter, and because of that, the mental connection required to get the whole atheist vs theist thing just didn't materialise. I think that's the problem with making points like that through comedy... way too easy for the message to be lost to humour. Hell, quite easy to backfire unless you are actually intelligent about it.
