"Now, no one is actually altering these fairy tales in this over-the-top and unrealistic way, but what if they did!? Those bastards!"
These idiots always seem to be offended by things that haven't actually occurred yet and rarely end up happening despite their predictions, whether it's PC fairy tales, death panels, etc.

Given that her fetish seems to revolve around race rather than nation, the point about patriotism seems moot. People like the daft bint quoted in the OP don't help at all, but there is quite an annoying false connection between the ideas of race and nation. That's why the government's decision to fly the English flag over Number 10 during the world cup sparked so much retarded shrieking from leftards. Apparently racists with a vicious hatred of brown people are the only ones who have any affinity for this country's flag.

I dread to think what they would think of me then. I have five instances of the Union Flag in my room.

I dread to think what they would think of me then. I have five instances of the Union Flag in my room. Oh no the union flag is fine, it's just the Cross of St George they kick off about. Since all of our various ginger colonies failed to qualify for the world cup, leaving England as the sole representative, the decision was made to fly the English flag rather than the British flag over Number Ten. I did like the shrieking, though. It makes me giggle that our national emblem is considered to be a ZOMGBNPHITLERSWASTIKAGASCHAMBERSGODWINGODWINGODWIN kind of affair.

I'd argue that declaring our national symbols to be racist is itself racist, because it implies that you can't be British or English unless you're white.

I'd argue that declaring our national symbols to be racist is itself racist, because it implies that you can't be British or English unless you're white. Does that also apply to countries with marginal or no white population?

A similar argument can be constructed for most countries really.

No seriously, WTF? She has beef with the existence of mixed-race children. It's one of her favourite hobby-horses.

TBH a more direct method of making the Union Flag represent the Union better would be the total extermination of the welsh.

Good plan. Alternatively: apparently the Welsh are going to build a massive dragon statue on their side of the Severn. So all we need to do is build a giant statue of St George on our side and then pose him so he seems to be brutally murderising the dragon.

See also: The present shitstorm in a tea cup over the "banning" of the England flag/ England jerseys in streets/pubs during the world cup. It hasn't happened. It isn't happening. It sure as fuck won't actually happen. This honestly sounds like the kind of random rumor I've considered starting up to see if it would make it to Fox news. Take random bits of things from the mainpage, make something juicy enough that they wouldn't think twice about repeating it, and getting it out there somewhere. See how long before I can manage a book deal explaining how it got to where it did.
