It's all real media. Black ink, markers, and white calligraphy ink. I did do just a little bit of color correction in Photoshop because one of the markers I used wasn't quite the color I was expecting, but other than that, it's all by hand.

I'm not horrible with ink, but it's clear that I need refining. I just can't move quickly and accurately enough to avoid blots on the end of points. I'll give you my latest drawing as an example, check out the tips of the fingers. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac!

When I'm drawing something that needs a sharp point at the end of the line, I move the pen quickly right at the end and lift it while it's still moving. Sometimes doing that makes the line stray a little from where you wanted it though.
I think we all see more mistakes in our art than others do. I think Johnny's fingertips and horns look nice and pointy (I can see what you're talking about, but I don't think it's a big problem).

I finally decided to clean out my camera's memory card. I'll post more stuff later, but this one is my favorite. Red maple <3 Sized down in PS.

I'm not really a good photographer, so out of my entire memory card, I only have a few decent pictures. Aside from the maple leaf I posted yesterday, here's the rest that I see fit to show people: This was a dirt road back in the 50's. It's been closed and overtaken by vegetation since then, I thought it looked nice with the fresh snow. A small stream that leads to a pond. The sky wasn't quite this color when I took the picture, but it looks nice, I think. The former field across the street. They've put up 5 houses in the last year. *mourns the loss of the field* We had a heavy frost the night before ^_^.

Thank you, Pasta and John. I like stream picture too :]. I've used it for homemade greeting cards before, people seem to enjoy it.
