So, if I get the one where the devil is burying dino bones, do you think people will get it or just assume I'm a creationist who is off his rocker? When I first stumbled upon this range of shirts I wanted the devil burying bones and the earth's birthday so badly, but the cost of shipping to the UK is really prohibitive.

What happened to subtle T-shirt designs?
Those worked a lot better at getting points across.

Subtlety requires adjustment for intelligence of target, perhaps?

Subtlety requires adjustment for intelligence of target, perhaps? Exactly. What's the point in wearing a shirt that no one gets? I love the praying mantis shirt. I would wear that.

What happened to subtle T-shirt designs? Those worked a lot better at getting points across. I had this as my signature for a while at Christianforums, there was a creationist there who didn't understand it. Now, I wouldn't exactly call this subtle, but it just goes to show that the mindnumbingly stupid miss even the blatant. And if any group of people is mindnumbing stupid it's creationists.

AV1611VET is most definitely not a Poe.

I had a cool, bright red Tee-shirt while I was at university. It a a black/white rendering of Marx, with the caption "Make big money! Be an Historian!" Damn, I loved that tee. Some bastard stole it.

That is just awesome! You need an alternative theory though... AV1611VET or whoever it was might be a good place to start. Was he the fuckwit that thought Jesus was responsible for the strong and weak nuclear forces? There's Earth, Fire, Wind, The Deep, Salt.... So far off the top of my head. I know sodium chloride's a compound, they didn't. Maybe as pitch as an element caused by the flood, which they then magically made appear before the flood via a time machine. Fake dinosaur fossils as an element. It's been too long since I've had to think about the absurdities in the bible. See if Good and Evil could be elements. Also the firmament. Edit: Oh and rainbows, I forgot rainbows... God made a new element after the flood to say sorry.

When it's simple it's not subtle, when it's more complicated it's "borderline poe"? Okay then.
sky, the folks that are going to be offended by these tee's usually have to have them explained to them anyway. If I'm going to insult someone I don't feel like explaining to them why they should find it offensive. Might as well waste time explaining the basics of morals to someone while I'm at it, you know what I mean?
That said I love the mantis shirt.

Sky, most of the tees posted here have been pretty subtle except for the tshirthell.com ones, but they were still funny. Please stop trying to start a flame war everywhere you go.
