www.protectisabella.com/Here's the story: You had a lesbian couple, one of which concieved via anonymous sperm donor. A little girl was born six years ago. Mother of the girl found Christ, broke up with her partner, and refused to let her partner see her child. What elevates this to the level of bullshit territory is that the anti-gay groups, Concerned Women for America, Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX), and the Thomas Road Baptist Church, have picked it up and used it as a banner against same-sex visitation rights, and to reiterate Virginia's anti-same-sex marriage laws. Who are they "protecting" Isabella against? A lesbian in Vermont who Isabella used to call "mom"? Against the 'atrocity' that Isabella will be 'confused' at having 2 mothers? Just when you think nothing enrages you... They have a TV spot too.

...ban visitation rights? What does that have to do with any of this? Will love between two people of the same sex make all the patients gay in their weakened conditions?

The woman was told to stay in Vermont. Despite the fact that she was ordered, she took the child over state lines. VA has been reticent to do anything because they've been trying to make it about the "other" part.
Also, I want to flog these people for trying to devalue same sex marriages by calling them "faux marriages" and using quotes around "tie the knot." Fuck you for devaluing loving couples.

I refuse to be ear raped by this video but even without the sound I can spot the BS. Seriously, a cute little girl huddled in fear at the thought of her old mom visiting her? These people just value tradition, they don't think homosexuals are monsters or scum...

You know what would make everything easier? We should just declare that EVERYONE is gay, no matter what they like. This would make all marriages gay marriages, and then we wouldn't have stupid things like this.

What's worse is you know they'll trumpet this as a reason to say gay partners can't have children. "Oh look how scared and terrified the child is. Certainly the confusion and gayness did this to her" because religious bullshit played no role in that at all. I hope they get the kid away from her honestly, or she's going to grow up to be a bigot almost like her mother with her who is a hypocritical bigot

Forget anti-gay, this should be anti-Christian, since that's how the mess started in the first place. I mean I usually don't have a problem with religion, but the lady converts and 180's like that!
I realize the lady probably had problems to begin with that had nothing to do with her sexual preference, but becoming a bigoted b*tch right after converting is a pretty big coincidence.

I like that the video just uses a silhouette of a woman to her other mom. Wouldn't wanna give dem dirty ho-mos a face, then people might realize that they're people too.

You know, I think that this whole debacle is just going to confuse the kid. She had two moms. Suddenly, she doesn't have two moms, and people she's never even met are trying to turn her into some kind of symbol for their cause.

Another thing just occurred to me. If this woman is allowed to suspend visitation rights of another parent on religious grounds shouldn't other people be allowed to do the same in other custody battles? I think that's the real question here.

Ha! I like that.
"It's against my religion to allow my children to be exposed to fundamentalist religious teachings."

Yeah I read about that on World Nut Daily when I was browsing for quotes once. The one woman became so fanatically anti-gay after the break-up. What a joke.
