Dammit, I assumed my tape measure was metric which was stupid because I live in America. I am 162 cm. Also, I know BMI is a terrible calculation for health, I was just listing the stats I had available. I really doubt I am going to do this for longer than a week or two, as I said in my original post, I am mostly doing it as a detox, the weight loss will just be a plus. So, here is my plan. I am easing into the diet and will eat less animal products and processed food each day (I just had a glass of delicious cow juice.) Then I will go for a week without any of those items completely and will eat pumpkin or sunflower seeds for protein. My ultimate goal in the long term is that doing this will make me think smarter about my eating habits and that when I want a snack I'll go for an apple instead of the doritios. Question: how do you intend on getting a sufficient level of calcium in your diet?

332, if he's indeed 2x166, which would make his height about 7 1/2 feet tall for a BMI of 28.5. I'm guessing Sky isn't actually 7 1/2 feet tall, but just misunderstands what BMI is and how it's calculated. I'm 6 even; I should be about 6'3 - 6'5, but thanks to all the books I had to lug around in high school my spine has partially compacted in on itself and I've never had time to go see a chiropractor.* The BMI came from an electronic device that the coach at my last PE class made us use. No matter how many times I checked or how much weight I lost over the course, it always ranged from 28 - 32 whenever I checked it. *Which is a scary thought in the sense that I'm so tall I can barely fit in a normal vehicle as it is; I have a mere .25 inches of clearance between the top of my head and the roof of both my car and my dad's truck if I sit up straight. If it's done with an electronic tool odds are it's Body Fat Analysis. This is the BMI According to the numbers you gave (6'3" 300 lbs) your BMI would be 37.4 which is classified as obese. A BFI of 28 would be heavy for a man of your age, you should be down around 18-20%

I am starting to think about it more, and I am more steering towards a processed food avoidance diet than a vegan diet, but I am still trying to eat more veggies and fruits than I normally do (not much.) I am planning on a permanent diet adjustment, and not some get thin quick kind of thing. As for calcium, I am drinking some cow juice right now.

I've gotten really bad with my diet, but I can say I felt healthiest when I lived on the farm and ate what we grew. And cow juice is always good.

Diets don't work. The best thing you can do is eat less red meat, eat more veggies, and excersize atleast three times a week.
(Sorry if this was said before, but I didn't read the entire thread.)

Remember that vegans don't just not eat meat, they also don't drink milk.

Interesting side note: in my previous car, a Volvo station wagon, I had to open the sunroof to sit upright. Yes, it led to as much hilarity amongst my friends and family as you probably expect.

Thus far, the only vehicles that I've been inside where I can sit up all the way are the larger cargo / passenger vans on the road.

This is about someone's diet, not about your riding habits. Can you attempt to keep this on topic just a little bit? You know, for something different?

Your not fat and I fancy herion chic women(Even though I know its wrong). My friend has been vegan for 10 years she has a 6 year old daughter feed a vegan diet. They are both pictures of health but not skinny. Its takes some effort to be vegan and get the right nutertional balance. But then many veggies and meat eaters lack the right balance as well. Don't be go vegan to lose weight, you will more interested in cutting calories than eating well and that will damage you. cook your own meals(Its fun), watch you portion sizes and maybe exercise more. It should help.

According to the BMI, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are both overweight, and Harrison Ford is Obese.

I actually used to fit pretty comfortably in an old Toyota Tercel hatchback (it was a little hard to get in and out of that), and I'm 6'4". Nowadays I drive a van, but my wife's Saturn Ion is also comfortable to drive.

Seating space has nothing to do with the actual size of the vehicle.
