I am pretty sure that we had this at the old forums and I felt like it needed to be revisited.
I'll start. My birth name is Matthew, which is pretty much the anglonised version of Mattias, a much cooler name.

Armand Tanzarian is the moniker I chose to write songs under. And at the time, over 4 years ago, I was a Simpsons fan.

I used to have an Australian shepherd/Labrador mix dog. I called him an ausador. I then used the name on a whim when joining a BBS discussion group a little over 20 years ago, it stuck. (remember 1200 baud modems and paying by the minute to be online, anyone? lol)
As a bonus I have never run into another 'ausador' online...every place I have ever signed up I have never had any problem with the "This name is already taken" hassle.

Ironbite was the star of my Beast Wars Fanfic series. I sorta ended it when it got too stupid even for me...at chapter 2.
Ironbite-but the name stuck for an internet handle.

Me & my friend are idiots, & were sitting around in math class, when I realized that "Lisp" with a lisp is "Lithp." We both agreed that the word sounded awesome.
When I was signing up for FSTDT, I was getting a little tired of the username (Neo Bahamut) I'd used for the last few sites I'd registered to, and so I typed in "Lithp."
Ever since, it's been synonymous with Fundie-bashing, whenever I used it. Basically, any place where I primarily created an account to make fun of Fundies, I call myself "Lithp." Or when my other names are taken.

Armand, has it ever occurred to you that your username is spelled a tad bit incorrect? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principal_Skinner^Spells it as Armin Tamzarian Sorry to be such an asshole.

The reason for mine is the biblical quote in my signature. If you're not one of them, then your an antichrist.

I was trying to come up with a name for a character, thought one I thought was original, a bit later while checking my geography textbook I found out it was the name of an ocean current, slightly modified. I use Current as a joke on that.

I do, actually. I just like the misspelled version better.

Bluefinger is my general net alias. It was inspired when I used to doodle a lot on my hands so to avoid getting my textbooks all graffiti'd, and when having to think up of an internet name that hardly anyone used, I took a look at my hand, and the name stuck ever since.

I'm Scottish and very outspoken. Thus you have Rebellious Scot who is anarchistical (is that even a word) hopeless romantic.

It was written in ancient times that knowledge of such things had the power to destroy the universe (and turtles, although that might be a mistranslation).
