I heard about this over the weekend. My question is why someone with a background such as hers would have even been allowed on as a Sunday School teacher in the first place. Cause child molesting rapists/murderers are easy to profile, like blacks, right? I never figured out what leads someone to think killing is acceptable, viable, or even a good choice.

One puking smiley coming up As for this, it's sick, but yeah I find it sicker that people are "BUT SHE GOES TO CHURCH!!!!11!!1". It's getting to the point that I'm amazed if the sick fuck isn't a good church going Christian.

Maybe there's more that wasn't in the article, but there doesn't seem to be anything that would keep people from wanting her to teach Sunday School. She has a few convictions, but isn't Christianity supposed to be about redemption? She has financial problems, but so do a lot of people. (OK, so she is accused of raping and murdering an 8-year old girl, then hiding the body. But no one knew that!) The news blurb I heard said that after one of her convictions the judge ordered her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. That right there should have been the deal-breaker for any future position with kids.

I had to go for a psych evaluation because I threatened to hunt my ex down like the dog he is. The psychiatrist decided that mine was a valid viewpoint.

Going in for a psych eval doesn't mean someone is nuts. Or even if they are nuts, that they are a danger to themselves or others.

And then there's that *special* kind of crazy that *always* has to sit or stand next to *me* on the fucking bus...

I find the picture of this woman really, really disturbing. She just has this dead, weary, horrible look in her eyes. It's just creepy. Of course, knowing what she did makes it all the worse.
