I should know. The house we live in is sandwiched between two roads. And I'd rather not see my beloved cat become a pancake. Or get killed by a neighbor.

I sometimes take Dustin out on a leash.
When Rahja was still around, I'd just kinda follow him around.

Yep, you just have to convince the cat it's a good idea. Which is surprisingly easy if you start getting them used to a leash early on.

That was pretty easy for us, as neither of our cats had ever been outside before.

Yep, you just have to convince the cat it's a good idea. Which is surprisingly easy if you start getting them used to a leash early on. So I've heard. I'll have to try that once I have my own place, and can get a kitteh of my own. Or two. But yeah, harness and leash training, AND shoulder training.
